Haha! No gas station ownership unfortunately. I'll be looking to offload the LX as it's overkill and I'd prefer a 4Runner. Will likely order a 2023 when available or try to snag a 2022 cancellation if White or Lunar Rock come up. Still my dream daily and still bitter I had to sell my last two for Tundra's. Lol! Redemption time.

Just curious, what kind of things do you put in a roof box, that you can't fit in a Golf?

I have two young kids, so if I throw a stroller in the trunk, the trunk is basically full. Having some extra space for bags will be nice

Which stroller do you have? I presume it fits the length of the roof box.

Too dumb and stupid to have kids but its in the plans in a year or two haha

We've got a roof rack for the Corolla iM and have been considering getting a box to throw shit on top. That or an A4 Allroad after seeing roastpuff's at the Stock & Noob meet.

Edit: Would also like a roof box to throw other track day related shit in the Corolla since it acts as the support vehicle for the Boxster. #fwp

I have this, its a chonky bastard and we only use it when we are out for the day or in an area where we need the bigger tires

https://www.cityselectstrollers.com/...ips-mid-march/

I actually almost traded my car in for an Allroad a few months ago.

Its funny what westopher said about RS growing up. Ever since starting artofstance, I've met a lot of friends through cars over the past 10 years and a lot of them have started families and having kids too. We definately growing up and adulting.

I’m also too stupid but still did it. The e36 is surprising good for baby hauling. Had the whole family, including the dog and no one was cramped.

I'm going to have my first kid at the end of the year, but I'm never giving up my toy, lol. At least the car seat fits. But there's not too much trunk space with the rear seats folded up.

Realistically, we'll be using my wife's car (mazda3) and I probably won't be driving my car anymore whenever I'm with the fam...

Speaking of RS growing up, this is a good ongoing parental thread, especially for those expecting their first kid soon and have questions on baby gear.

You'll be fine. The Chicco is one of the biggest seats there are and it'll only get better from here. If you guys are only expecting mall duty and get one of the compact strollers once the little one gets a little older the FiST might actually work. Just don't go ham at Costco.

For big trips, I get it. The wagon even was a bit tight with the dog and all our snowboard gear and baby stuff, but for just grocery getting, or jaunts around town, even my e30 has enough room.

It’s usually the dumbest people that have lots of kids. That’s why the moron population has remained absurdly high even though information is more readily available than ever.

^not sure why anyone would want to have kids these days. Climate change. Inflation. War. Diseases. Lack of opportunities. The list keeps going on and on. Has me scared shitless.

It’s pretty great, just do your best with what you’ve got. One is my max though. Need someone to use the e36 once I’m too old to shift.

Is your car seat installed in the middle seat position? I think its supposed to be installed on the side positions. (280mm spacing between the LATCH points). Is it too wide if you put the seat in the middle?

I hear my downpipe and intake more than wind noise, my commute to work is only 6km round trip so won't make much of a difference

This little daily STi has been great so far. Been a year of ownership and pretty much zero issues. Even the AC was able to keep up with this heatwave. You sure you don’t want it @snowfarmer?
