Now I really haven't been following this side of things. But can someone explain how we can afford to randomly throw hundreds of millions of dollars at a random country halfway across the world just cuz they have a war? Is it some g7 or NATO thing.
Why are we dipping our feet into this if we don't want to escalate this into ww3. Last week I heard we're sending rocker launchers and grenades.
Don't we have trucker protests and our own inflation COVID high gas prices to deal with? 200m handed out to Canadians would sure help out a lot
@jdmdreams. Let’s say we have spent 145m on Ukraine. We have 30m people over 18 in Canada. If everyone drove, that means they could give us each $5 towards gas. Sure sounds like it would help a lot.
Insert here I know that’s not how it works. Plus we’re giving equipment, you know, the stuff Canada isn’t using in all of its active wars. Munitions and supplies do have best before dates. Why not donate it
ya then we can just spend the military budget on new shit
i wonder if the government can "write off" military donations lol
I dont know. Our military budget is pretty laughable. They still haven't figure out how to replace our fighter jets yet. Do you think Canada would increase our defense budget with JT? lol.

Those are called assets.

Pretty sure Canada’s defence plan has always consisted of depending on the USA to fight for us lol
Unless Canada picked the fight with another country, I can't imagine the USA tolerating any hostile country setting foot in any part of North America. The question is, if Americans came up here to fight, would they leave or would we just become another state?
Pretty sure the last time Canada actively picked a fight, we burned down the White House. I don’t have a worry of us doing something similar any time soon

Its true. lol.
There are really really smart Canadians here, but they all flock to the US because money and that's where all the companies are. Wouldn't it be awesome if we can retain all that brains and develop some crazy stuff here? Where would Canada be?

We've shit canned that with the Avro Arrow and it was damage that Canada won't recover from.
Was at the aviation museum in Victoria a few days ago and they had a section on the Arrow. Every time I see a bit on the Arrow it makes me mad.

small arms munitions dont expire, especially when stored correctly.
it's important to keep a stock pile to have at the ready in the event that war does start.
that being said you're absolutely right, we probably wont be getting into an active war in the foreseeable future.
It's a drone with a camera that fits in a backpack and launches out if a tube. It has a 10 km range 15 min flight time top speed of 100mph and is a freaking missle. They claim it's undetectable. They have a bigger version that can go 50 km. The smaller version costs as little as $6000.
Im surprised my thread ban is lifted, of course we cant have a civilized discussion here about facts but here an interesting video. watch it quick incase it gets deleted by our 'truth' gate keeper mods.
I'm not sure who unbanned you either, but if you keep posting nazi propaganda, you're gone. You have your own thread for that shit, and people are free to chat with you about it there.
Feel free to post some alt right militia LARPer who heard that Ukraine has neo nazis he can fight along with, but then got bombed and immediately tried to desert his post to escape the country with all his gear, with otherwise no verification of any claims. Fucker went from taking his gun to BLM rallies to taking it to Ukraine, I guess in hopes for some free real life military training? People like him are the dirt worst, trying to take advantage of a catastrophic situation. Instead, he learned that when you go into an active war zone with serious supply chain issues, it's not going to be Call of Duty.
Or more likely, he didn't go at all, and is trying to stir up shit.
Meal Team Six there soiled his cargo shorts as soon as he realized this isn't Call of Duty (heheh... doody) and that there is some real danger. He sees what the Ukrainian people have to deal with and, unlike his time in the U.S. Army, the support and technology just isn't there for him to dominate like he had the COD: Eastern Europe Prestige Season Pass.
He thought he'd go over to Ukraine, the sanctions and threat of the U.S. military would lead to the Russian forces pulling back, and he'd have a great story to tell about chasing Russians back to Moscow to all the meth-head single moms back in Ohio. Shit got real and he peaced out, then told others to peace out too. Now the video demonstrating his cowardice is going to be used as Russian propaganda. That chump will be back home next week sucking ranch dressing off of hot wings while the situation continues to erode. Putin will place videos like this along side Tucker Carlson's latest tantrum on state television to "show how Ukraine is lying to its people and the world".
Like SkinnyPupp said... this guy was a LARPer and has now become a useful idiot in a propaganda campaign.
