I am shocked at how quickly and peacefully it just... stopped. His issue was never against Putin himself though, it was the two generals. His idea was to replace them, and do a better job of invading Ukraine. But despite helicopters falling from the sky into peoples' backyards, out of nowhere someone told him to go home and he was like :okay: We saw citizens cheering him on and supporting him, so yeah, it's not good for Putin. If someone overthrows him, they'll likely have public support. But it will have to be done covertly, not with troops marching on the Kremlin. Military had their chance to turn on him, and they didn't. |
He is a mercenary for hire. i have a feeling money/supply's may have been involved. |

Where's the Kickstarter for Putlers assassination I'd pay big money to see him tortured for the rest of his life |
OK this explains it better. They had his (and other Wagner executives') families. |
The Wagner executives didn't think that their families would be targeted? |
Western countries, heck, all countries of the world, are seeing the possibility of a Russian political collapse. The biggest question that many political leaders could have on their minds is "Which Russian leader would have control of the world's largest nuclear weapons arsenal if Putin is no longer in power?" |

More on the aircraft Wagner shot down... Turns out these are pretty important, and operate far enough out of range that it's impossible for Ukraine to do it themselves at this time. Thanks Priggy! https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FzxLb6yXsAAXuEw.jpg Waiting for some updated battle maps, as Ukraine has made some advancements, and also took out a bridge connecting Crimea, which will slow down Russia for a few extra days. |
Here's yesterday's battlefield map. The bridge connects Crimea (southern region in red, annexed in 2014) with southern Ukraine. May update this post later if it's different https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FzszPOyXgAIyCMQ.jpg |
Meanwhile, Putin has a luxury train to travel across the country in order to evade detection. This train is not on any Russian train travel schedules. Of course, no radar to detect his choo choo train movements: https://www.cnn.com/2023/07/10/europ...cmd/index.html |
Should drop a cluster bomb on that ... |

^ strangely enough, there is a clause in the Hague, Geneva convention that makes assassination or targeted killing of a leader prohibited. Which I don't understand, I mean, I thought, all is fair in love and war. So even with Osama Bin Laden, the law is to capture him alive, they had to demonstrate that he was trying to fight back in order to have justification to shoot/kill him. Don't quote me on this. |
Uh no. That's how WW3 with nukes starts. |

Also of course the major difference between carrying out assasinations in countries like Iraq, Iran, etc, and say Russia, is that Russia has nuclear ICBM's. Those countries do not. |
But Iraq had weapons of mass destruction. |
An a 300 ton 747 airplane took down a 500,000 ton building |
