I have a hunch (but never looked into it) that Mazepin's dad is one of Putin's rich cronies, so yeah I think if he gets dropped that's a massive statement.

It's absolutely true. Dmitry Mazepin (Nikita's Dad) is the majority shareholder of Uralchem (largest producer of Ammonium Nitrate and other fertilizers in Russia.

In the meanwhile waiting for Drive to Survive, Sky Sports has recently released a documentary on Verstappen vs. Hamilton

I watched the briefing and they mainly said they wanted Mag back because they needed an experienced driver to build the car with etc.
