I took down the flag in front of my house, because I didn't want people to remotely think I was one of those fucktards.............
I was going to put it back up on July 1st, but it looks like this shit isn't going to die. It's like COVID. Not ever going away. I was proud to fly the flag. Now I'm ashamed. My son told me that's letting them win. He's right, but..............

Yea that's tough, and extremely unfair that they've managed to turn such a symbol into a symbol for "huurrr durrr".
Is your flag a tasteful size and hung up appropriately? I think the size and number of them goes a long way from seperating the two. The idiots tend to take the appropriate amount of flag, then add like 15 too many. Same for size. Ridiculous sized flags, almost like they're compensating for something right.
One of my neighbours has always had a small Canadian flag hanging outside their front door. Its tasteful and appropriate, but I guess there's always the small possibility for being mistaken in these times... Maybe not worth getting egged or worse.

It will be funny when that happens and they see the issues plaguing Canadians will just be exchanged for other issues that are equally or more difficult to deal with, depending on the demographic.
They think cons are gonna get in and money will just rain from the sky, gas will be free, the real estate they buy will be cheap but the real estate they sell will be expensive.

I’d agree with that one. The leaders are likely high in intelligence… and evil. Ha. My comment about Albertan’s is an oversimplified way of saying, it’s easy to be persuaded when your life is flooded with those of a similar mentality. Sometimes pure hatred to a certain political party (saying that, I spent the weekend with a group of AB’s. None of them agreed with this convoy… unless they were keeping quiet, ha)…. And then there is those who are technology crippled. Haha.
