Only in Canada where you will see people bring kids to a protest and live in cars. Use them as chips. Such freedom so wow. I'm surprised family services hasn't stepped in.
All you need is a few hundred crazies to bring down Canada's economy, and the gov is doing a hot potato. not my job, it's the cities, not my job we have no money.
You can thank the truckers for keeping interest rates low and my asset prices high at least. ??? Profit

Covid and everything surrounding it is seemingly no more about public safety but political gains.
Weird how the two provinces who’s sitting leaders are in trouble lift everything while BC, who’s ruling NDP has zero threat of a liberal win does not react. I feel like Horgan and Bonnie likely wouldn’t anyways given how they’ve handled it up to this point. But the ford thing just speaks to him walking a tight rope trying to remain in power like the rest of them.

Hmmm, the Flu Trucks Klan in the US wants to disrupt the Super Bowl game this Sunday. https://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/world...cid=entnewsntp
The Department of Homeland Security issued a bulletin to US law enforcement agencies warning of a convoy “potentially impacting Super Bowl LVI” on 13 February, and the 1 March State of the Union address in Washington, where the mooted convoy is likely to arrive, CBS reported.
The DHS bulletin said such a protest “could severely disrupt transportation, federal government, and law enforcement operations through gridlock and potential counter-protests”.

“Freedom convoys” of motorists that have set off from half a dozen French cities in protest against the country’s coronavirus restrictions will not be allowed to enter Paris, the capital’s police authority has said.
“The stated objective of these demonstrations is to 'block the capital’ by preventing road traffic from circulating in order to further their demands … from Friday, before moving on to Brussels on Monday,” the authority said.
“Because of the risk to public order, these protests will be banned from 11 to 14 February,” it said, adding the penalties for blocking public roads included two years in prison, a fine of €4,500 and a three-year driving ban.
Convoys of cars, vans and motorbikes left Nice in the south-east, Bayonne in the south-west, Strasbourg in the north-east and Cherbourg in the north-west, among other cities, for Paris on Wednesday and Thursday, inspired by a two-week truckers’ demonstration in Canada.
“There will be a special deployment of officers to prevent blockages of major roads, issue tickets and arrest those who contravene this protest ban,” Paris police said, adding that instructions had been given to “act firmly”.

I agree 100 percent with JDMDreams.
If any of the Flu Trucks Klan dared to disrupt transport routes, break traffic laws, OH Forbid, block people from attending the Superbowl on Sunday, the police should arrest those truckers.
Does anyone know if these motherfuckers are harassing passengers at the terminal of Ottawa International airport?
As per my previous post, if the Department of Homeland Security already issued a bulletin about a convoy of these tinfoil heads wanting to disrupt the Superbowl game on Sunday, you can be sure that the American government is keeping an eye on these Flu Trucks Klan south of the border.

it feels like 90% of the country doesn't support these people (not saying truckers cause half of them aren't)
and 90% of the country would have appreciated JT, more if had shown some balls in this situation.
why does it take a private citizen to get a court injunction against honking? totally sorry state of government affairs.

Only an injunction is being sought to end the blockade. I honestly don't know why the Trudeau and Ford governments aren't taking a more active role to end this when it is the busiest and most economically important CAN-US crossing there is.

Auto plants in Ontario are having to close because they can't get parts. Who do you think is going to get the blame, JT or the politician having dinner with the protesters. 
That's the leader of the cons with the protest organizers.
Rumor is they want to block airports next.

There is blame to be had of course, but it's not exclusive to one person or party at this point. Literally every level of government with jurisdiction on this is sitting there twiddling their thumbs.

Bergen is an idiot and will be poison for the party going forward but her eating with protesters while JT fumbles through house sittings? Who cares, bad optics but it isn’t enabling anything.
She came out today saying the convoy should end? What else is there for the opposition to do? The convoy now has no political support outside of basically rogue MP’s making comments.
I don’t support the protests I think it’s moronic and definitely does not represent my interests at all. But this blame game going around between feds and municipal police is laughable. If you want it over, do somthing. That is on Justin to do. You’re just going to twiddle your thumbs and keep spewing out some BS in parliament hoping this ends on its own? Unlikely.
Liberal logic - Justin being called out by his own MP’s, complete inaction on the whole convoy situation to the point of not even being able to address the topic - “heheh JT is winning” lol..

There's a chain of command, and it doesn't start at the PM making the decision. The Mayor of Ottawa with the Chief of OPS are the ones that need to hand over operations to the RCMP/Federal government which is something they have yet to do. Sure they are asking for more personel, but without handing over the situation taking place on provincial and municipal land, the Feds have no immediate authority.
If you've listened in or watched any of the meetings between MoO/Chief of OPS/Riding representatives, you can see there is corruption going on and the main players are in bed with the protesters. It's a frustrating thing to hear from the people that have the power to start the end of this.

The PM, whether it's JT or anybody else, can't just declare "let this be over, send in the troops." Not only would that be illegal, the nutjobs would be foaming at the mouth calling Trudeau a marxist communist socialist tyrant (although...I guess they already are doing that, lol).
Like you said, this is the result of dangerous stupidity being met with inaction, but while some blame could certainly be placed on the federal government and by relation to Trudeau, there isn't much he can do at this point other than condemn it and twiddle his thumbs.

First time hearing that lady talk... And yeah as I suspected, she has to be actually insane. She needs help.
