I'm surprised it took so long to confirm season 2 - seemed like a slam dunk based on reviews. I know nothing about the game and enjoyed the show - not a 10/10 but good, fun entertainment.

Speaking of season 2, Silo S2 is out Nov 15th - can't wait. Loved season 1 - Rebecca Ferguson was fantastic in it (and also very hot).

She was so hot in Dr. Sleep.......................

kind of like that song, "You can leave your hat on." Damn, that hat looks sooooooo nice on her.

Not a Sci Fi series, but Tokyo Vice is pretty good. It's based on accounts of an American ex pat who becomes a journalist. He ends up risking his life and the people close to him by his obsession of exposing a Yakuza boss.

Around the time I went to Japan again in the Spring I was on a Japanese binge of sorts and IG must have caught on and a reel about the show came onto my feed and I watched it. It was a good watch I agree.

It's set in the 90's or something like that. Critics mentioned how scenes were used over and over again........ yeah, trying to make it look like Japan from the 90's can't be that easy.

There's a thing called a budget.

Anyway, another non sci-fi series that "looks" interesting is Doctor Odyssey. DON JOHNSON, ffs. Tokyo Vice reminded me of it........... Miami Vice, jbol.

Just started Season 2 last night too. I'm excited at the possibility of the Traids being introduced lol when he read the newspaper and it said something like Chinese gangs are getting into the weed game. Even though they are not usually massive players being Chinese I always like seeing some Asian gangs in the American shows like Sons of Anarchy where they were actually part of the show.

I'm really interested in catching it and at some point I'll want to catch up with Star Trek Discovery and Strange New Worlds. I just don't want another subscription to pay for.

Bwahahahaha............

I love SG-1 reruns. Catch stuff the second, third, fourth time around. A lot of references to local Canadian cities. It was after all filmed here in the Vancouver area (Bridge Studios). https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Bridge_Studios

S6 Ep 4 "Frozen." First scene in Antarctica, sign on facility reads, "Welcome to White Rock," gulolololol.

S6 Ep 5 is filmed in Steveston, but a few of the indoor shots are in East Van - 2400 Motel, nicely renovated east end heritage house, etc. BC license plates, lol.

S6 Ep 6 mentions Kelowna (a faction on an alien planet).

S7 Ep 7 O’Neill(with 2 “l’s) asks Teal’c which team will take Lord Stanley’s cup. Teal’c replies with, “The Canucks. They’re formidable warriors.” O’Neill has a WTF look on his face. Too funny.

How are folks liking season 2 of Silo? It started off pretty darn slow but has finally picked up lately. Not as good as season 1 though but still lots of mystery and tension.

Just started master of the air on Apple TV. Love these ww2 series. Same producer as band of brothers and the pacific mini series.

Austin butler is always great and so far it’s quite good.

I had trouble getting into it - the dudes were all too good looking to be believable as a bunch of soldiers. Hunk Air.

I’m almost finished it but yah it wasn’t as good as band of brothers or the pacific (<- the best one in my opinion). It’s a bit impersonal fighting an enemy you barely see in the sky. Not as savage and brutal as the pacific.

I thought it was a good series, but the CGI was awful.

Some of the shots of those bombers and some action scenes were just terrible from a visual standpoint.

It's crazy how movies and series like Saving Private Ryan or Band of Brothers had better practical effects and visuals than the slop being carted out nowadays.

For the love of RuPaul’s assets……… watching rerun of 5th Element. Totally forgot Uncle Benny was in it. Flying Shanghai Junk. The set in the movie reminds me of the original Dune movie. The opera singer……… damn. The Aria is almost impossible to sing, according to experts.

On another note, Mayfair Witches. Damn, that chick is mysteriously sexy as hell. Not that great looking but she oozes with sexy vibes. She has that, cum fuck me, look.

First off... the opera singer / that song was cut into a song.. which was told was impossible to sing.. UNTIL Jane Zhang 张靓颖 sings "The Diva Dance"

not sure if this was close?
