why trollface is poor |
doesnt troll troll have a 510 datsun thats HOT AS SHIT!?!?! just sell that thing and he'll be RICH....er |
Rofl. Rewind time 10-15 years, I was still in school making no money, but RE was much cheaper. Fast-forward to today, finally have some money, but RE has went through the roof. I bought that car 16 years ago, and worked on it bit by bit; it's worth much less than you think. As the boomers die, I think classic car prices will hit rock bottom, so there really is not future payout for me there. 1) This gen that's growing up didn't grow up with these cars, there is no nostalgia 2) No one can afford a house, let alone a garage to store these things 3) Anyone that knows how to work on them will die off in the next 20-30 years 4) Kids in general are not as interested in cars anymore 5) Wages have not kept up with COL, no one is going to be able to afford to have a huge hunk of metal as a toy Wish I didn't have such an expensive interest, why couldn't it be collecting stamps or something? Thanks for coming to my TED TALK. |
When you gotta work non stop, zero days off for 4.5 years to even remotely dream about a $35K Golf R. But you show up to Blundell and you see a sea of M's and AMG's at Chatime Blundell :okay: |
because their daddy worked non-stop for half a century lol The other side of the world is hell in terms of owning an expensive car or modified car, it is relatively cheap to them |
Can someone guide me into what's happening here Or at least a conspiracy theory, gerbs is good at those |
trollface wide mouth opening eating trolls poor trollface |

You need to have taste and passion to be like Trollface. That’s not something that money can buy, and I’m not being sarcastic. |
trolly mc trollface just needs a hug. https://i.imgflip.com/4/17m63c.jpg Edit: but this is why vancouver sucks so much. It really fucks with your mental health as there is so much god damn money flowing around here while most vancourties are just trying to get by. When i was in germany, there was the occasional fancy car, but the germans dont really give a hoot. They much rather take their money and their 30+ days of federal/state holidays and go have a good time drinking/traveling/screwing legal prostitutes/etc. Everyone in north america seems to be working themselves to death trying to chase this idea of a good life exemplified by these dumb ass kids who's only cars are ferrari's and lambos. I highly doubt these kids are any happier than you... they seem just as miserable and aimless as the rest of us. Once you have the top of the top, then what? there's always some schmuck who's going to pull up with a Pista next to your 458 and laugh at your peasant ass. Even their stick girlfriends all seem to be a bunch of materialistic cunts who are engaged in this never ending battle of who's richer, who's whiter, who's skinnier. FUCK IT Take a "troll" day and just focus on yourself. dont worry about other people, fuck'em. |

I’m born and raised in Richmond, i was brought up around all the…. Affluent money? Not sure how to describe it but you know what I mean. It was almost refreshing to drive through those UBC neighbourhoods of $20m homes, but all they have in the driveway are 3 Lexus/Toyota and maybe a Subaru. That right there is money vs wealth Spoiler! |
That’s called my shitboxes are parked outside and the underground lair has something super crazy I take out twice a year hahaha |
If I could convert the love in my heart to currency, I'd still be broke :okay: I have friends living in Wheatfuck Saskatchewan getting excited when they see a Tesla, never mind a Porsche. Over here, it's like every 5th vehicle waiting at a red light. Same exotics are parked outside presale events & Value Villages alike I still remember when Vancouver was a seedy port town. Ooozed character at least. Now everything is so clinical and sterile. Thank God the food is still good here. Other than the cars I own (which all take premium), I've given up on cars entirely. |
I'm starting a poor bois only car meet at Blundell on Friday nights. Sub 10k car only. We will share a bag of crazy bread. Bring water and jumper cables. |
https://fastly.4sqi.net/img/general/...pqATQrJO4Q.jpg I miss the days of getting crazy bread for 25 cents on the regular. I’ll never know for certain but always figured they had removed the machine because I had no problem winning :lol |

Pre Covid prices. Inflation is transitionary if your timeline is long enough. The only thing that hasn't gone up in price is Crazy Bread. $4.20 with tax. Good hedge. |
I'm in. See you lonely bois Friday |
lol, people will always feel poor and chase the next toy they can't afford. Back in the day, the STI was my "realistic" dream car but I just can't make ends meet to justify buying a car at that price. Yet that's considered a "cheap" car that a 20-30 year old can buy for some people. lol. I have other priorities, but I guess if I just eat cup noodles for meals, maybe I can swing it. But I'm not sure if that's what everyone else is doing or they just have a lot more money. |
Can I come ? I’ll bring my Camry !! |
It better not be an XLE. |
