tbh would rather watch them win and lose games with scores of 5-6 rather than 0-2 or 2-1

If you look at the Canucks win the last few months, it's frigging crazy how many high scoring games they win by 1 goal only.

Tons of 1 goal game wins (or blowout losses), it's kinda interesting.

World juniors def has a dark cloud over it. Gonna be hard for them to ever recover

Let’s face it, no one else really cares about it and when TSN started losing all their NHL rights it basically became their yearly propped up showcase rather than an event that could live on it’s own merit. It’s been a pretty steady decline since those amazing years of Eberle etc.

Made huge saves, esp in the beginning.

After a dismal performance in game one of the tournament, Canada is ahead 9-1 nearing the end of the 2nd period. Playing Germany today. Bedard with a hat trick and 6 points, so far. Damn, the kid has a great shot.

Players from all teams are representing their country. Not quite Olympics, but young rising stars. IIHF tournament. It's not Hockey Canada tournament. It's a shame Hockey Canada is a mess, but the players in this tournament should not be painted with the same brush as those who acted like fucktards.

Just Saiyan.............

god bless

Can’t remember how to embed tweets here but Bedard’s preferred stick seems to have made an impact on Bo’s scoring prowess this season.

Edit: thanks to whoever embedded the tweet.

I love the instrumental arrangement of our national anthem. Gotta find out who and which band performed it. Games are in Halifax and Moncton. Crowd singing along......... shivers up the spine.

11-2 win.

Conner Bedard from North Vancouver might be voted MVP.

Eligible in 2023.

Team Canada, coached by Travis Green went 0-3 at Spengler Cup ... worst showing ever. Man, how did Travis Green get so bad so fast?!

https://www.tsn.ca/hockey-canada/can...ebro-1.1899061

Canada, which entered as the defending champion and winner of four of the previous five Spengler Cups, finished 0-3 at the tournament for the first time.

Nobody talking about Miller the cancer? Whacks the cross bar to get Delia to leave, and still ended up giving a empty net. Bahaha

Miller is an EMO with such a poor attitude. Boudreau did not give a signal to Delia to leave the net.

The arrogant idiot thinks that he can override his coach’s decision to tell Delia when he can leave the net haha.

What a huge mistake it was for Allvin to sign this emotionally damaged idiot to a contract extension instead of Horvat.

Delia is smart not to leave the net, he knows Miller will most likely turn the puck over before leaving the zone

Exactly! Probably thinking "I'm not leaving the net while you have the puck..."

100% this was just miscommunication between everybody. Boudreau probably thought he gave the signal and that Delia saw/knew. Delia didn't think he got the signal and was hesitant. Miller thought Delia should've been gone already.

Boeser also uses his stick to point to the bench, but Delia doesn't see. So, if Miller didn't vocalize, Delia might still be waiting for Boudreau or until he thinks he can go?

I think that the plan/play drawn up in this instance was that the 6th man had to be on the ice as they brought the puck up (makes it easier to gain entry and/or recover the puck when there are more bodies for the other team to cover). Delia waiting/delaying meant the 5 man unit would be up the ice with the 6th man trailing if/when Delia goes to the bench, which makes entry into the offensive zone 5 on 5 with no advantage.

I'd assume that if not for the screaming and slamming of the stick on the goal
