Yes, John Scott, Ozolinsh, it's mentioned in the article that was posted.

It's a "messy" situation, but one I don't think really makes that big of a deal. Yeah taking away the invite is a big deal. Representing which conference/division, probably not so much. But it makes perfect sense why Bo would wear the NYI jersey since that's the team he plays for now. Hopefully it's a jersey/team he's proud to move on to. Making him wear the Canuck jersey would just be awkward. As for representing which division, obviously the teams are set already, and it's less awkward as players aren't as attached to a conference/division representative as they are to a team.

Anyone else hoping Bo comes out in a Canucks jersey than he takes it off to reveal the islanders jersey underneath? While placing canucks jersey in a garbage can that happens to be lit on fire?
That would be hilarious and would ruffle alot of feathers

Hahah. Maybe if this was an all star game for a sport that is focussed more on individual star players like the NBA then you might see a jersey burning in garbage can. He's not Prime Time like some of the prima donna elite players in the NBA.
I get the sense that Bo was emotionally attached to the Canucks and to the city of Vancouver in general. He played many years here. His kids grew up here. He and his wife spent a great deal of time living in Van City.
He was quoted as saying to reporters that he genuinely thought that he would play for the Canucks for the rest of his career.
-do not think that he would burn a Canucks jersey because he has respect for his team mates, the franchise, and to the city of Vancouver in general.
The owner Aquaman is a walking shit show but that's another story.

Someone joked about it on twitter but wouldn't it be amazing if Bo put a jersey on Petey with a C on it? Literally passing the torch. Sure, it may be premature but it would be a memorable moment.

Yup, and Peteys tenure as captain will be even shorter than Bos before he wants out of this dumpster fire
Even though i like the head to head traditional lap around the rink fastest skater. Watch this race, u could tell they were trying and by crowd reaction they were loving it
I think with every clip of everything constantly uploaded onto social media, there's no need to prove who the all stars are anymore. everyone already knows or can pull up on their phone that sick move the player did last week. so, they just go there to have fun now.
the all star games has always been to try and get viewers/fans. makes a lot more sense when you consider that back in the day you'd only get to see other stars a few times each year.
also, some players don't even want to go because they could be resting, spending time with family, and just not risk getting hurt.
All Star games and Pro Bowls are basically versions of the sport for kids to enjoy. Growing up, I loved the NHL and NBA all star games and especially the skills competitions, and even sometimes would watch MLB and NFL skills competitions. As I grew up, I became less and less interested. They're just not for me, and that's fine. They should keep doing them, and maybe make them even more kid oriented.
