There's already enough to cry about as a Canucks fan. No need to cry about players wearing a jersey or not.
They can just have every player wear a different color.... Together it's a rainbow, individually you're just wearing a different colored jersey. Guys who don't care for it can wear white, blue, or green.

I think the pride jerseys are a pretty big example of the actual NHL as a corporate entity virtue signalling, but that said, if you are too homophobic to wear a fucking rainbow on your shirt for 6 minutes because "Jesus told you not to" it's really not as brave as the incel comments section on FB would like to give you credit for.

I mean it's not news that people all over the world are still not ok with people being gay. I don't see how "just wear the jersey man" does anything to fix that.

Not every sports player signed up to be the poster boy of some social injustice and it's a little ridiculous to expect people to just shut up and go along with it if they don't agree with it.
I'm not religious by any means, I think it's a ridiculous thing to believe in myself but you're not 'winning' by forcing someone to wear a jersey for something they don't agree with.
