Boom… TRD does it right that’s frickin hot

trollface 08-22-2022 01:22 PM

I dont even wanna know how much those TRD wheels are.

bcrdukes 08-22-2022 01:37 PM

Genuine Question: What will you do with the body kit once the lease is up on the LC? Or did you buy it out right (cuz you be ballin')

I ask because how many LCs exist on the road today and what are the chances of someone (reasonably) wanting it? Or will you return to Lexus as-is? LOL

Badhobz 08-22-2022 01:37 PM

Looks like 6k usd for 4.

Wanna buy me a Golf R instead? Your wheels are like 25% of a 2018.

I paid cash. The interest rate was 6.9% on the lease and the total cost of financing would have been 30k in 4 years.

I don't think anyone will want it till its discontinued and v8s are completely gone. Given the amount of 911s there are in Vancouver, its not a money problem. Its that most people don't want to spend 150k+ on a Lexus that has worse performance than a BMW supra or a CTR.

Trust me. Ill die with this v8 drop top corolla.

Not when you don’t even show to stock and noob meats!!!!! Humph !!

68style 08-22-2022 01:41 PM

I mean... they're basically the GS-F wheels no?

I guess they're 19's... but same design... they're BBS wheels

68style 08-22-2022 02:17 PM

Literally the LFA Nurburgring wheels... and yes made by BBS... although the LFA ones are magnesium I believe:

start at 3:20 that's how i'm picturing you paying for the car

LC looks amazing and I think most 21+ low profile wheels will look siiiick

Thing is, I can't unsee these Camry lights

Have you looked into Vossen wheels? They make a lot of bigger sizes with tonnes of colour customization.

https://vossenwheels.com/wheels/

Or if you're baller... which you are... HRE... they're broken wheel days are way way behind them now but they are about $3k per wheel?

https://www.hrewheels.com/wheels

I'd say with the calipers already painted yellow... and the interior being red with the blue... gold or bronze wheels are NOT going to work... you need more a gunmetal or darkish centre with polished lip combo.

Vossen is cheap shit. Would not buy lol. Can't be a balla with a LC500 and buy Vossen. Neither HRE or Vossen has clout or resale lol, so that if you change your mind you don't shoot yourself in the foot. Remember that guy with a 325ci who was asking for 20K or smt stupid cause of his 10K BC Forged wheels that no one wants lol

Also don't buy: Niche, Stance, VMR, Avid1, Adv.1, Voresteiner (idc if they make CF bodykits now), ESR, Touren, TSW, Avant Garde

Wow the Advan GT does not look great on this car... also questionable mods.
https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.clu...d84bec4063.jpg

I just realized the LC500 is 5x120... good luck if you're buying used, all you'll find is the above brands I listed for do not buy. But on the flip side, since you got coin, there are nice options cause 5x120 was also previously BMW up until G series. Not a lot of options as it's really just expensive or yuck LOL. 5x120 is tough.

Oh hey - since you like the type r so much, how about I sell you the wheels? They're 20s :troll:

Badhobz 08-22-2022 05:25 PM

Things that look good on this coupe doesn't necessarily look good on the vert. The coupe looks more tuner while the vert is a bit more classy in its silhouette. But these trd/bbs wheels are pretty much a sure thing

I wish. I had a very angry wife next to me who kept yelling say chun (idiot) for spending this kind of money on a lexus.
The finance manager lady was like uhhhh awkward :badpokerface:

BIC_BAWS 08-22-2022 05:42 PM

BBS Japan Product Page for the LC

RI-D -> looks like a cleaner version of the FI-R (which is the new most rep'd wheel)
RI-S -> fancy version of the FI-R
RZ-D -> looks like your classic multipspoke, go with Work/Rays Homura
LM -> no explanation needed
LM-R -> Get these.

I’m not a huge fan of the blacked out wheels as they look too sucked in (almost like there are no wheels) but that red lip and Calipers also look very clean. Sexy stuff baws. Appreciate the effort.
