Love the fake "meet our user" testimonials (All the photos are stock images from a quick google search).

So… you’re paying 3x what a lease is to… rent a vehicle?

Traum 10-05-2022 01:16 PM

Hmm... since maintenance and consumables are included into the price, you think I can rent one for a month, and do a crazy amount of long distance trips and track days with it to get my money's worth?

ya - this just seems like they're sub leasing it to you w a vig.

what's the upside? 30 day commitment only vs lease term? how hard is it to get out of a tesla lease? i'm assuming not hard.

JDMDreams 10-05-2022 01:48 PM

What why?

Yeah, it looks like you just need a 30 day minimum notice to cancel. Or you can "Pause" the subscription at a fee of $100/month for those paused months.

Who has 1999 a month to rent a car lol

Badhobz 10-05-2022 06:32 PM

Almost everyone that has a 125k+ car. Most of those are leased and the lease payments are 2k nowadays.

JDMDreams 10-05-2022 06:47 PM

Yes but those are barely $100k cars that you're paying exotic prices for.

This reminds me of that mobile gas delivery service that popped up a while back, I don't see those trucks anymore I guess they went belly up.

Special K 10-05-2022 08:25 PM

Cheapest Tesla on Turo is $2500 for a month in November. So I guess it’s not unreasonable.

SkinnyPupp 10-06-2022 02:50 AM

$2000 a month for a model 3?

I remember them servicing the EVO fleet, took a quick search on and found their twitter - https://twitter.com/getfilld last post was in 2020 and their website is now some loan/banking site.

But if you have a 125k+ car, why are you renting low tier Tesla?

That's an insane premium for a what 90k car?

Badhobz 10-06-2022 07:48 AM

but its short term rental.. thats selling feature. Although i think it only makes sense for performance automakers like porsche where you take a fun car for the summer and go back to your beater in the winter/fall.

i dont think i want a tesla for the summer.

Christ, at that price I'll just rent me a Macan or Panamera - a Macan starts at $2650/mo and a Panamera starts at $3550. (https://www.porsche.com/canada/en/ac.../subscription/)

320icar 10-06-2022 01:08 PM

This must be rich people problems cuz this seems stupid af. But if you can afford that much, then you can afford a nice car full stop. Who cares if it sits here half the year when you’re back in China ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

JDMDreams 10-06-2022 02:01 PM

^^^ this I don't want a pos Tesla I sit in my Maybach, lucid, EQS :lawl: either that or the recession has hit the riches net worth and they don't want to blow that kinda money on a rental Tesla. Can you imagine buying $3000 worth of Tesla stonk a month, what the returns will be in a few years
