Italians already gave up and elected this right wing crazy lady. Putin is basically a Czar from the old days. How soon before other nutbags step up and become "elected" into power? lets not forget Hitler was also "elected".

Pitting people against each other has always been the classic playbook of the rich and powerful and it's working as well as it has in a century.
Add in that it really sucks to be a politician nowadays and no wonder so few people see it as a noble career choice to make.

I hope Canadian voters will keep this in mind when the next federal election comes some time within the next 2 years. Alberta's Danielle Smith is already a step in exactly that direction, and Poilievre is an even bigger step in that same direction and at the larger national stage.  Quote:
