That front lip gives me ptsd. Even walking near it reminds me the old ladies who pushes their shopping carts right into the back of my Achilles tendon

Curse you old ladies at T&T!!

I took a vacation day, got up at the crack of dawn, and went for a drive to Boston Bar. I wanted to go through those tunnels and sing the song of my people off the canyon walls.

This image above is very special to me. This is the CN bunkhouse, as a freight conductor, i spent many nights sleeping in this bunkhouse as we got off our 8h trip from Surrey to Boston Bar (crew change station).

Nothing is bouncing off the walls in that pic. You are doing 1400rpm!

I had the top dropped after breakfast in hope. Wasn’t cold at all, but that’s probably due to how amazing the aero is on the LC. You can drive it year round with the top down and there’s little to no wind inside the cabin even at highway speeds.

I saw the cars, hence the spam emoji haha.

Wish I can say the same about the NC. It's basically James May inside all the time. "Buffeting, buffeting, buffeting..."

Was that your experience with the NC? I'm surprised because for the most part, I found the NC has some very good aero to deflect most of the air away from the cabin. You need put the windows up, and you need to wear a hat. But once I do both of those things, I can crank up the heat and drive top down in some pretty chilly weather while being perfectly comfy.

(With the top and the windows down, I wouldn't drive faster than 50km/h unless I was in a motorsports situation LOL~)

I didn't mind the buffeting in my NC (PRHT) though it was really hard to talk at 100kph with the top down and windows up. I found the NB worse for buffeting and the ND slightly better but those are pretty small differences. The 718 I had last year was better than all of them but still too loud to talk.

Re: weather for top down. I've always dropped the top if it was warmer than zero and there was sun. I paid for that droptop and I'm gonna use it. Crank the heater and put on a jacket and let's go!

When it was hot, I would have all windows down and it can get loud. Around town it's mostly ok top down windows up. But wife really didn't like it when we took it to Coquitlam for dinner and was doing about 100-110 on the highway. It was loud and her hair was all over the place.

I agree with the top down all the time. I've had some extended time in a ND soft top as well. It's not hugely better than a NC. Can't really beat physics/fluid dynamics.
