What is the squiggly arrow pointing at on your hood?

Assuming a 4-year lease cycle, there could be some decent off-lease MY2019s out there still.

this is a good idea

in the fall i visited several VW dealers with cars on lots and a chequebook in my hand.

the only guys that really worked w me on price were the crew at Vancouver VW. They were excellent.

Drop Bryant a line and tell him what you're looking for. I don't see anything listed right now, but they all maintain a book.

I took great pleasure in informing all of the salespeople that followed up after our visits that I'd made my deal w a more receptive dealership.

That white jack stand doesn't look very safe; at the very least you should chock the tires.
And the sidewalk beside your driveway looks kind of funky with those colored steps.

I skipped Facebook altogether when I listed my Lexus last month on AutoTrader and CL. Most of the leads were legit and the car sold within the week.

let me give that a try, never used it before

Some dipshit hit and run me and it took two months to get it sorted. Thank god for surveillance cameras.

No. 1 Collision on Lougheed. I knew they were certified for every luxury brand available so VW should be a slam dunk for them. They’re super backed up on Teslas because everyone goes there :lawl:.

The big catch was the 5 hours needed to repair in behind the bumper. I’m sure a shittier shop would have cut corners.

If the Mk8.5 GTI returns to buttons for the infotainment, maybe I’ll get it in red. There’s a side story pilot with a white Zaku II, but definitely thinking red if I ever change cars. But absolutely not at 7% interest.

You just need to get a Golf R in spectrum

You may even find it quicker than we know it.

Stock wheels back on, much happier now that I've got them refinished and spacers in place. Excited for spring driving

I swear to God that E46 is the pinnacle of BMW's stylistic design. Looks so simple, clean, and classy all at the same time.

It's been all downhill after that.

westopher 05-06-2023 08:31 PM

after the e46, it's when the non M cars were no longer cool. You can see a clean e30, 36, 46, 39, 34 etc in non M spec and be like "holy fuck that's a cool car" but that ended with the e90 other than a few cool specific models.

underscore 05-06-2023 10:08 PM

They're not just not cool, they're straight up bland. iirc Top Gear described the E90 as "14 feet of car" and didn't even bother putting it on the Cool Wall.

New Toy! B swapped EL with EK front (I call it the ELK)

Looking for some side mount recaros... gonna be a strictly summer toy, just like a motorcycle.

And went lapping with the 3800lb tank:

big shout out to Kalson + Axon + Overdrive for hosting another great event at the Ridge!

Again, if I didn't already know this is a real life car (and the BC plate, I guess), my first thought would have been that this is a screen grab from some recent version of Gran Turismo.

Same. I thought it was from a SIM racing or Gran Turismo game screenshot.
