PICS OF THE BACK SEAT (RECLINED)!!! that thing is the closest we have to the toyota century and ive always wanted one. SO EPIC. now you just need a driver so you can enjoy the back seat.

p.s. your father has great taste. not a lot of people would spec for the LWB and the reclining rear seats as that option was like 30k on top of the base LS.

we bought it used

The funny story behind that was we were looking for a used GS350 AWD. Couldn't find one we liked (mainly the color combo, i swear everything had a beige interior)

Then we came across this Gun Grey LWB. The LS was more car for the money, so we picked it up. The LWB was very old people friendly (grandparents)

Dad retired almost a year now, so he decided to splurge on a new ES350 as a gift to himself.

has been a great family car and super quiet inside. Will use it for daily duties until I get annoyed by its sheer length.

Will post full lay down position pic once I have time. Its quite............. useful.

That ES350 won savagegeese luxury car for 2022. I totally agree it’s something you can take to the grave. The seats are sooo sooo comfortable and that v6 is quiet and reliable. Best luxo barge ever.

Its basically what sold my dad the new 2023 ES350: updated infotainment that ditched the mouse cursor pad thing...... and its simple - just a naturally aspirated V6. Dad didnt want hybrid tech or even turbocharging... just wanted a simple quiet sedan with some power.

Bought the base V6 as its all he needs. So I guess that worked out.

the car is quite roomy inside for what it is, just a bit lacking on headroom imo. Seats are indeed comfy! More so than the LS front seats actually.

I think the problems around that year of LS are the infotainment system going kaput (the had drive dies and then the whole thing is fubarred) and the... control arms I want to say? I forget.

Sublime cars though.

touchwood, infotainment works currently.

We did do the front lower control arms though. total PITA as the ball joint is integrated with the front knuckle...... which in turn the ball joint was seized onto the front LCA.

So... ended up doing front knuckle and with the front LCA. Been pretty cherry after that though.

@jing - my friend just called me out of nowhere and asked me when im selling it... wtf.

If it's just the hard drive dying maybe you could preemptively clone it? Depending on what exactly it is in there.

This camry is now 13 years old. she has 100,000 on the clock and REFUSES to DIE. Actually it refuses to even break. 13 years and not a penny of "extra" spent since we got her in early 2010. About 2 years ago i switched from filling her up from 91 to 87 because everyone on the forums said it makes no difference. They're right. 87 is fine for this 2GRFE.

Tofu's dad's new ES350 will also likely be the same. It'll just keeps working like a swiss clock.

Some more autocross in the RS. Still too lazy to swap over from my winters so it’s not competitive in time. But who gives a rats ass, still fun AF

Then took the STi ice racing. It did well other than popping the up-pipe gasket and losing all power

So far yes. I’m the very very small minority where I LOVE the tight kart-track style for autocross. Way more than the skidpad traditional style ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I like the go kart style too, but some of those light poles are a little too close for comfort, also it's just not very flexible for layouts.

The light pole all the way in the back near the hairpin, I almost lost it into that pole. Scary shit.
