I’m telling ya that aria plate holder makes it look like you bought a used car !!!! Wheels look so nice without those aero covers. |

You need a tow hook mount, and you lose EPG/mpg? If you take off the covers |

Nice boat. |

Wow you're doing tbird! I drove up to ice racing a year ago with Geoff in the grey Subie through a snow storm, he got mad at me saying I was following too close but I just couldn't see them in the blizzard lol... tell him Chris w/the red Celica says hi Oh wait... this thing already ended didn't it? lol |
This might be a very rare opportunity to have two straight posts of awd celicas lol After 8 years of ownership, finally took this car to its first ski trip in my ownership to Sasquatch mountain. https://scontent.fyvr4-1.fna.fbcdn.n...Ag&oe=63F419A4 |
lolol did ICBC ok that farty can :D Looks beautiful though, never see 4th gens unless they're rusted to ish anymore |

Technically this HKS silent power for the ST185 would still count as "era correct" and within 2 years of this ST165? Also thanks! This one wasn't immune to rust either, just had the left quarter replaced including the inner quarter. Thankfully someone makes panels for them. |
I did the same thing, I have a 94 MR2 on collectors and I've got a GReddy PE on it... I listed it as stainless replacement. They were also okay with the full TRD suspension as era specific too! |

gotta be smart now about choosing the right exhaust i suppose is there a secret handbook where I can read more about what 'OEM+' might fly? |

Things you can generally claim on the application sheet without them asking about: next generation wheels typically within 2 years (mine are 1993 wheels on a 1988, that was totally fine), 1 diameter increase in wheel size Things you can generally claim on the application sheet that they might ask about but still pass if you have a good explanation: suspension mods that are or replicate higher trim oem specs. so something like trd springs for a toyota, but you could also do eibach springs which also do only a 1" drop. newer oem radio (ie. say a 2000s corolla double din in a 1991 mr2), aftermarket wheels that are "era-correct" (ie. og TE37 for your 90s car would work, but TE37SL would likely not) Things they don't like: tint, dirty or worn carpets/seats, aftermarket radios, decals other than car clubs, saggy headliners, |
The current reviewers honestly do not know imports well at all and maybe aren't as detailed as past ones have been. If you write era specific and put it in there, most likely you will pass. If not, it's free to apply minus the cost of postage (some insurance places will post your app for free like the one under Superstore in Richmond!!!) so just re-submit revisions after they reject it and try again. |
then i hope they're still in that department in 4-5 years haha |

The weather forecast keeps on saying it's gonna snow soon, so I keep postponing putting insurance back on the fun car. And then we keep on getting days like yesterday and today where it is sunny / dry enough with temperatures right up to 10°C. Dammit... |
