Oh you mean like your Datsun 510 that’s not a 510 but everyone thinks it’s a friggin 510 so you just give up and call it a 510, 510 ?

Good to see Buick still near the top! :fuckyea:

I saw your Regal for sale. Park Ave looks better imo.

Chris Harris has spent some time w the M2

It's still ugly though

Dbone 11-19-2023 07:01 PM

"When you're in it you can't see the outside so shut the fuck up" - Chris Harris :)

My question is do you get the M wing on the back or not. I don't like the rest of the M stick on carbon bits but the black rear carbon wing to match the black carbon roof...SeemsGood

westopher 11-20-2023 06:51 AM

If you think this looks bad I'm going to call the police.
In stock form though it does look pretty bad from lots of angles in yas marina periwinkle or whatever it is.

Damn, it does look pretty good with 20k worth of wheels, fenders, lights, lip, hood, bumper, grills, side skirts, and coils.

Badhobz 11-20-2023 07:06 AM

i think its easier to make the m4 less ugly than to make the m2 into that.

The m4 just needs a nose job, or steal the bumper off the base 3 series.

68style 11-20-2023 08:17 AM

My problem with the M2 is how much it weighs. Holy fuck a car that size and it's 3,300 - 3,600lbs depending which transmission it's spec'd with???

Badhobz 11-20-2023 08:35 AM

My wifes 128i was already 3200lb and that thing has jack shit all inside. The new one at 3814lb is utterly insane. Thats a hair away from 4000lbs which is like what my old maserati used to weigh.

There aren't really any good looking new cars cheaper than a 718, even with the 20k worth of parts (probably closer to 30k) I think the m2 comes in, and you could fit at least one human in the back.

JDMDreams 11-20-2023 10:00 AM

Doesn't look ugly too me

Dealer MSRP Price$52,835

And you can fit many kids or hoes in the back :troll:

Car and Driver timed the 2023 VW Golf R with the seven-speed DSG transmission. A 0-to-60-mph run took a mere 3.9 seconds.

2023 Porsche 718 Cayman 0-60 Time: 4.9 seconds

:troll::joy:

tofu1413 11-20-2023 10:53 AM

have you watched MF ghost? 718 gts can beat GT3 :troll:

Dbone 11-20-2023 12:02 PM

AWD helps more than a little bit.

Still, a good car.

trollface 11-20-2023 06:22 PM

Stage 1 mk8 r's are banging out 3.6/7 0-100's.

westopher 11-20-2023 06:32 PM

Thats awesome. I prefer the slower 7.5s due to looks though. Much better looking cars.

Not when you're 6'5 and you gotta crank the seat all the way back to clear the steering wheel.

A true ____ will do it no matter the position.

dark0821 11-21-2023 04:58 PM

at 6ft 5 I assume you need to do that for any car?

Even for suburban/escalade lol... ofc I am talking out of my ass, I actually have no idea, but color me surprised if they can accommodate people over that height. I know the Shaq needed custom seat rails so lolol

Watched this yesterday and had a grand old laugh. Harris being extra testy. Awesome review.

Wonder if that's due to him being able to speak his mind again since TG is wrapping up?

Typical bmw fun. 472 bucks for this part and 2h of labor. Joy

Make sure you carefully seal back up the vapour barrier to the door insides when swapping out the window regulator otherwise you're going to get leaks into the cabin. Ask me how I know lol.

N52 is typically laughed at by N54 douchebaggery on the internet but honestly after owning my 335i for a year and a half after going from my 330i there are definitely big benefits to keeping an N52.

I definitely miss the simplicity of the platform and the much lower cost of ownership compared to relative beating I can give to it. I've never hesitated to go full beans on the S2S or to Kelowna in my 330i. Paired up with a the 3.64 differential and suspension mods and it made driving it incredibly fun (for example, keeping up with a Cayman on S2S).

Looking back I specifically wanted the 330i for the three stage intake manifold but if I was to do it again the optimal move would be a 328i 6 speed RWD, 328 automatic X Drive differential, and an n54 intake manifold. With the n54 manifold you gain more power top end but lose it bottom end meanwhile the diff compensates for the bottom end loss.

Do what you will with that knowledge haha

Driving this has become only on special occasions

bcrdukes 11-28-2023 11:29 AM

I hope the special occasions do not result in a VI :lol
