2023 BMW M2
 

I dont follow new cars these days and get confused with so many different M cars, it's variants, and the pseudo-M cars, but the new M2 and it's design really stood out to me


Apparently quite controversial, but I absolutely love the box fender flares and the long hood. Even before watching the Doug Demuro review.

Even the boxy grill and front styling is reminiscent of the E30 M3.

Doug is being contrarian for clicks here based on other reviews that said the opposite of him. Guy is playing the algo more than actually reviewing the car.

Personally I think the bumpers look like ass

Proportions of it seem so strange, the regular 2r looks much better imo

Bmw is testing the limits of sensibility. Everything they make is uglier, fatter and more insane nowadays.

The bumpers, especially the front, don't seem to match the rest of the car. It's like someone already put a bad bodykit on it.

I think Throttle house had a more astute take:

It's one of the ugliest cars on the road except for all those other ugly BMWs (M4, XM, iX, i7/7-series). It almost makes most generations of WRX decent looking.

You know what it looks like, if China made a M2, it looks like those ling long wang Alibaba cars. Like this is the China replica version of the m2 where they get all the proportions wrong and looks funny on purpose.:awwyeah:

I hate it. The last M2 was a really great looking car. Nowadays, most of the BMW lineup looks uh.... striking?

Is it just me or are there a lot more pig nosed m4s in the city? Im seeing these angry bird pigs everywhere now

^ The regular 4 series and the i4 also has the big nose, so it might not be all M4s, and there are starting to be more common as more stock show up

Can't stand watching that guy. Even the way he started his video with "thisss....." made me want to stop watching already.

Am I the only one that thinks it looks good?

i mean the rear looks good, and the headlights look good. only the unnecessary pig nose looks bad.

Some people think Sarah Jessica Parker is hot but I think she looks like a horse. I won't judge if people disagree with me on this.

It's not M4 pig nose bad, but it's just everything about the lack of continuity in the design. Why's the bumper so boxy when the rest of the car isn't angular.

It's the same reason why the Nissan Z's hard rectangular grill looks so out of place.

I hate the M240i too.

The brake duct vent (or whatever it's called) is a triangle that's just so aggressively angled up. Nothing else in the car has bodylines that match that. It's clashing with the head lights. It's just so randomly placed. Not to mention none of the sides of the triangles are parallel or perpendicular to anything... the entire triangle is crooked.

The shape and colour combo, tho. Makes me think its made out of soaps. That literally is the colour of the soap in my bathroom!

wow. just wow..... how do you go from such a beautiful car and turn it into absolute dog shit in 1 generation.

Although this Lexus LM gives bmw ugliness a run for its money. god damn the outside looks like pure dog shit but the inside is AMAZING.
