Bullshit suspension! Soucy should have gotten just a fine for the cross check. That cross check to McChicken's head was 100 percent by accident. If Zadorov does not cross check McChicken's back, then Soucy's crosscheck's McBaby in the chest instead of his head.
Sam Bennett's sucker punch on Marchand is at least a one game suspension.
Dangerous contact to Rat Face's head. NO penalty on that hit.
Like many people, I am not a fan of Marchand.
Having said that, the league's decisions to suspend Soucy and not suspend or give Bennett a penalty are 100 percent wrong.
The refs and department of "player safety" are a joke!!!

Honestly, we knew something was coming for the cross check to McChicken's face. I'm ok with 1 game as it could have definitely been worse. What matters now is that Oilers also face some sort of supplementary discipline too. Hyman's cross check to Zadorov being the prime example. There's also Kane kicking Zadorov in the head on that big hit.
Also, just to be clear here:
Boarding on Petey, no review
Spearing on Höglander, no review
Slew foot on Hughes, no review
Double minor missed on Hughes also missed AND told to get off the ice because bleeding
Both sides have missed calls but Oilers fans definitely don't get to complain here.

Of course the league will protect its superstars. If we had a player of McDavid's caliber, we would demand the same level of protection for that player.
This series is going 7; losing Soucy for 1 game is not going to cost us a shot at the series.

I was just thinking that, we have never lost in the WCF before, Dallas is a scary team but so are the Canucks. When was the last time we have had a team crashing and banging and being the bully's. It's such a nice change for once and I honestly think we will be able to keep up with Dallas, Hintz and Tanev both got hurt last night and our team is bigger and tougher then the Avs.
Pickard is in the next tonight for the Coilers, hopefully they can get some shots on him quick and get him off his game right off the bat.

He's way smaller than Skinner... 3" shorter and 30lbs less. Comes WAY out to challenge, I still don't know how Boeser missed that backdoor pass from Aman... or why Mikheyev didn't shoot at the empty part of the net lol
