Every arena has a goal celebration sound. I like the Seattle fog horn. Very Seattle like. Way better than the gay TV game sound in San José or one of those Cali arenas.
Our horn is so BC Ferry like. Someone needs to do a compilation of sounds from around the NHL. Probably done a few hundred times..............link?

So Kuzy is being healthy scratched for a second game in a row now it seems. I'm not sure what the issue is but hopefully he gets a chance to redeem himself soon.
This was kind of cool ... Chris Snow, the Flames Exec who died recently of ALS at 42yo, his kids got to read tonight's lineup between Flames and Avalanche.
1. Huggy hits 11 game point streak (tying franchise record for dman, Hronek just did it too)
2. 2 goals for Boeser who has been getting looks but no rewards recently
3. a loss to the sharks means absolutely nothing in the long run
We need the big boys to snap out of this recent funk. It's nice that we have depth scoring but the top 6 needs to start racking up goals again.
this team is definitely battling fatigue but that can't be used as a crutch. san jose played yesterday too apparently. they were just hungrier to win the game tonight.

It started as a rumour, but several insiders have now begun to speak on the subject, and the allegations of an extramarital affair between Connor Bedard's mom and Corey Perry may be the source of the Hawks' decision. This theory would've occurred during the team's mother's trip.
A couple of my friends in Toronto have wives that grew up in London, they all seemed to unanimously say that Corey Perry is/was a total peice of shit and still goes back to London all the time riding his fame/former fame with the London knights and will take women home from bars all the time in what sounds like border line assaults etc.
So if that came to be true, wouldn’t be out of character

The rumours about Perry giving the D to Bedard's Mom might be true.
The Chicago Blackhawks placed veteran forward Corey Perry on unconditional waivers Tuesday for purposes of contract termination.
"After an internal investigation, the Chicago Blackhawks have determined that that Corey Perry has engaged in conduct that is unacceptable, and in violation of both the terms of his Standard Player's Contract and the Blackhawks' internal policies intended to promote professional and safe work environments," the team said in a release. "As such, Corey Perry has been placed on unconditional waivers. In the event Mr. Perry clears waivers, we intend to terminate his contract effective immediately."
Perry has been out of the Blackhawks lineup since Nov. 19, being scratched for what was described as an "organizational decision." Blackhawks general manager Kyle Davidson had "no update" on Perry when speaking to the media on Saturday, saying he would be away from the team for the "foreseeable future.” Davidson added that it is the club's decision for Perry to be away from the team, not Perry's.
Perry's agent, Pat Morris, released a statement on Saturday afternoon:
"Corey Perry has stepped away from the Chicago Blackhawks to attend personal matters. Corey and his family appreciate privacy at this time."
