That's the thing, good teams should be able to play kinda bad sometimes and still win... and we still did win some games where we played bad. We're also, for the most part, stepping on the throat of really shit teams which is not true in the past.

First dub of the month. Zadorov swears Petey touched the puck prior to it going in. Still though, assisting on the game winning goal in the first game facing your former club has to be pretty sweet.
I don't know about anyone else, but I noticed we re-gained some of that defensive calmness that I now realize was missing in the last couple of weeks. Probably because Soucy has been injured. Things are looking up again!

not only did we miss soucy's play, but him being out meant either hughes/hronek were playing too many minutes or juulsen/friedman were playing too many minutes.
i hope demko's okay. if he is hurt, it's over.

Canucks should win if our defense decides to even remotely show up.
Devils are like the Oilers of the East. Backend is absolute shit, but can score their way to victory. They have like the worst GAA after the Sharks.

According the NHL website, Devils have allowed the 9th most amount of goals so far this season. The Devils have definitely had our number in the Hughes vs Hughes matchup so far. Would love to see us demolish them for once given their current situation.
