Talk of flipping Lindholm for Guentzel ... whatdauthink?
Guentzel has 54 points in 50 games. Allvin and Rutherford are familiar with this player from their days in Pittsburgh.
Lindholm is in a slump now.
Make the trade in order to boost our offence.
Seven game pointless streak for Lindholm.
Just four goals and six points as a Canuck.
Lindholm is mainly useful for taking faceoffs.
Guentzel improves the team's offensive depth. He can help the power play too.
Although Guentzel has a modified no trade clause, I think that he he would waive the clause in order to join our team.
Make this trade!

The win last night was impressive as they found a way around LA stupid 1-3-1 system. It was boring hockey but you can tell the nux just took over from the second period once they adapted. Its great to see they are finding different ways to win now and not just relying on their offense capabilities only
Wow, the Panthers are going all in with this trade with the Senators:
Vladimir Tarasenko from the Ottawa Senators on Wednesday for a conditional 2024 fourth-rounder and a 2025 third-round pick.
-from Sportsnet:
Without much in the way of prospect or draft pick capital, it's a win for the Panthers that they were able to pick up this level of player to add scoring depth without moving anyone from the roster. It's a further bonus that one of these picks was the charge for Ottawa to retain 50 per cent of Tarasenko's expiring contract, meaning two things: 1) Tarasenko counts for $2.5 million against Florida's cap and, 2) the Panthers still have $3.1 million in AAV space to use by Friday
Colorado makes a trade:
The Colorado Avalanche have acquired centre Casey Mittelstadt from the Buffalo Sabres for defenceman Bowen Byram.
Coilers make a trade with the Ducks:
The Oilers will be acquiring centres Adam Henrique and Sam Carrick in a trade with the Anaheim Ducks, Sportsnet can confirm.
The Oilers will be trading their 2024 first-round pick and a conditional fifth-round pick to the Ducks in the trade. A seventh-round pick will also go from Anaheim to Edmonton in the deal.
A third team will be included to absorb some of Henrique's $5.825 million cap hit.

In a post on X, TSN's Chris Johnston shared that Phil Kessel is on track to sign a contract with the Vancouver Canucks ahead of the 3 p.m. deadline on Friday. In order to be eligible to play in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, Kessel will need to be on the Canucks' reserve list by the deadline tomorrow.
I hope they have something up their sleeve with Lindholm... he has NOT looked good... or bad really... but he's not supposed to be skating around putting up Loui Eriksson numbers out there.
I get the feeling he's kind of an asshole. Probably what some media or personnel in Calgary was alluding to when they said the room needed to improve right after that trade happened.
I have a feeling that Dubas is not used to being a seller and doesn't realize he's probably asking for way too much. Will be interesting to see what happens if Guentzel stays put and doesn't resign in the offseason.
Only two letters separating Dubas and dumbass

Crazy how Coilers pulled ahead so much in the standings. Although if the playoffs start today, having the them play against the Avs in the 1st round aint so bad. They can beat each other up
The Carolina Hurricanes are set to include Michael Bunting as part of a package in a deal with the Pittsburgh Penguins for scoring winger Jake Guentzel, Sportsnet can confirm.
It feels like one of those seasons once again where you’ve gotta go through a meat grinder to get out of the west and just fall to a Carolina or Boston in the finals
