You know that story isn't far off.

I picked up a gal from the beach one time, we had drinks there, went to a lil party in the West End. Later that night she wanted a ride home, all the way to damn Langley.

We start driving up Terminal and we see a roadblock on the bridge going to Clark, end up going down the side street next to the Home Depot and pullover. We were getting frisky during the drive, so I figured lets hop in this big ass American backseat and have some fun. Clothes come off and my car is permeated with the smell of fillet-o-fish and canned tuna.

Needless to say, I was pretty turned off at that point, but a gentlemen doesn't let a little summer baked barnacles stop his bust. As the streetlights hit her freckled skin, my post-nut clarity solidified my thinking, I'm not going back to Langley, and we sure as hell are not continuing this any further.

I called a cab, and left my car there (I'm sure officer Cane would've been frothing to pull me aside at that roadblock in a 300 at 2AM with a white chick that looked like Iggy Azalea). Cabbed home, and paid the rest of her way to Langley, never to be seen again.

If you want to get frisky after a long day at the beach, you better still be in the mood for ocean scent!

You know who else said they were driving innovation by thinking "outside the box"?

One hint: He was turned into a pile of goo and his remains are on the ocean floor somewhere near the titanic...

Nobody thinks that

Don't blame me, you said "A boring place with no innovation"

You can now order a Cybertruck in Canada for November delivery. The same as people who put in a preorder day 1.

Having executive sponsorship to disrupt is big.

But these days with giant loans from the X acquisition, both companies function more as a piggy bank than the innovators/disrupters they once were.

Yeah true. Every team's inclined to tell the other to fk off when asked to look at an idea that will put them at risk to deliver. Until an exec asks them for it, point blank.

Buying a CT at this point should be considered an IQ test. If you buy one, you fail the test

Manic! 09-05-2024 05:12 PM

Because of Cybertrucks weight it's considered a commercial vehicle so it will be getting a 10k rebate from the provincial government and another 10k rebate from the federal government. Could make the the non launch edition price close to 100K.

Dbone 09-06-2024 09:07 AM

Is that supposed to sound appealing?:heckno:

bcrdukes 09-06-2024 11:39 AM

Manic, where is your Cybertruck? :suspicious:

teggy604 09-06-2024 12:29 PM

Watch WhistlinDiesel smash up a Cybertruck vs F150 lol.

i still stand by the advancement in steer by wire, and the sheer arrogance to use stainless panels and offer a different option than the conventional pickup style

however i have no interest in supporting elon..and all the insane corner cutting /recalls that have surfaced since would just be so ridiculous to shell out a pretty penny for this flaming pile

if rivian proves to be reliable and their upcoming smaller products show good value, that's where i'd be leaning

JDMDreams 09-06-2024 12:52 PM

By the time that rivian proves they are reliable, cyber truck will already be ironed out.

twitchyzero 09-06-2024 12:56 PM

not a materials engineer but frame getting ripped out might require more than ironing out, could be a major design flaw requiring to go back to drawing board on the gigacast

I was buying it as a work truck. At 136k it's way to much money for a work truck. A 60K Ford lightning can do everything the cybertruck can do for work. Plus elon is a dick and I don't want to give him any money.

2006 Chrysler 300C.

My dad was so angry I was buying a Chrysler he refused to co-sign the loan for me (to get a better interest rate).

Those fuckers had me bent over at 20% or something around there :lol

Cant decide whats worse, owning a Chrysler or tuna vag 🤔

AstulzerRZD 09-09-2024 03:34 PM

Tuna vag, the Chrysler is an W211 with a better engine/exhaust note
