Lol I think you're right. I'd take this lifted Sienna anyday. Esp if this TRD Pro version has hose-down floors with drain plugs, and then the rear becomes a hauling zone when you want it. And a clamshell rear hatch (fold down tailgate).

But they'll never make one :okay:

Urban off-roading. Everybody does it once and then never again after feeling like a jackass hahaha :D. But you know you could. If you wanted.

You laugh, but Subaru and Rivian built a whole brand around this!

Confirmed bullet proof?

https://twitter.com/teslaownersSV/st...=teslaownersSV

roastpuff 10-20-2023 12:22 PM

That doesn't look like bullet impacts, more like ballpeen hammer hits. No lead splatter, way too clean of a dent.

EDIT: Also .45ACP is not a very penetrative round lol

MarkyMark 10-20-2023 12:42 PM

You too can look like every gangster on the road with our new bulletproof vehicle that looks the exact same as every other cybertruck! We recommend you leave the windows rolled up.

Manic! 10-20-2023 01:12 PM

Confirmed they shot up the truck.

Every gangster is going to get one now.

Without knowing the caliber/grain load/range/etc. that one picture doesn't mean a lot.

From another site.

interesting - if it really was a Tommy gun, as in Thompson submachine gun, that's a .45 ACP which is a fair step up from the initial 115gr 9mm they claimed.
No way it's going to stop a rifle round, that isn't a realistic expectation. Stopping a .45 is already a step up.

68style 10-20-2023 03:34 PM

WHO CARES... you get shot at all the time driving around???

This has got to be the stupidest feature I've ever seen anyone ever talk about on a car.

punkwax 10-20-2023 05:28 PM

Bindy Johal disagrees.

Badhobz 10-20-2023 05:40 PM

^hahahah classic

Manic! 10-20-2023 06:03 PM

In BC you require a permit to own an armoured car. Years back a number of cars that were armered were seized. They cars were leased and then armoured. Armoured cars may not be a big deal in BC but they are in places like Mexico.

Dbone 10-20-2023 06:24 PM

That looks like absolute bull shit. What kind of shot pattern is that? And as other mentioned, how far away and what kind of ammo did they use (I understand it's a 45 but there are many types of 45)? Also, how about those legendary windows?

Seems like a distraction from falling stock prices and poor quarterly results.

I wish I could love Tesla as much as some of you guys, come on.

Tons of green waste from the yard that I can’t be bothered to hack down to bin size? Toss it in the box.

I’ve done plenty of dump runs. Cleared up a lot of garage space. I needed a truck and didn’t realize how much I did until I owned one.

this!!
for me i choose to go full size is because of payload and interior space. sure its not everyday i need the max payload of a full size but its nice to have.
being a homeowner and having an income property there is always something to haul around, and being able to do so in one trip saves time and money.
home depot runs, pick up and deliveries at my convince, my schedule.
im able to take on my own yardwork at the rental instead of paying a landscaper. lawnmower, weed wacker, leaf blower, powerwasher can all fit in the bed without messing up the interior.
i also return about $100 in bottles like a crackhead weekly. haha i swear these rich international students live off of energy drinks and sodas and booze. of course they cant be bothered with returning the cans. free money for me :lawl:

best daily usage of the bed is being able to toss sweaty gym clothes, kick boxing gear, damp swim wear in the bed and not have in bake in the sun while im at work.

especially when the crap im putting in the box is often garbage going into the dump

:suspicious: I wanna join the China menz truck club naaaooo. Seems very cool. Fuck my family they think I’m a peon anyways. This can confirm their suspicions that I’m a Canadian farmer.

That's just speculation, not actual data. There are a lot of variables and given that this is Musk we're talking about the chances that he manipulated them to change the outcome are pretty high.

Either way it's a pretty useless feature here. Show how it looks after a month of driving around Coquitlam and Richmond, then I might be impressed lol.

Erh... try shooting even a .22 at a regular car/truck at the furthest range you can aim well enough to not miss shots and get back to me.

Regular car exterior is like paper for bullets... even small one like a .22

Growing up, I used to go with my dad and my (much) older cousin to his friend's farm to shoot. They've got a few cars and trucks (or what's left of them) and bullets can go through it with ease.
