avoid hisense too. we have two for our work security cameras and in less than 2 years one died. also my friend had a 55" that died after about 1 year as well. they are technically pretty good for the money but a tv dying in a year or two is ridiculous.

It's currently $799, but if you have a Perkopolis account, you can generate a coupon for an additional 10% off

Then you can stack that deal with Rakuten rebates which is at 20%.

If my math is right, the net costs should be $662 tax in and Rakuten rebate

I generated some codes for you guys to use directly on the Dyson website. Terms and conditions are listed below.

Just tried and it seems to be not working :tears:

Maybe they forgot to include the exclusions when you ordered, and they rectified that since.

You're right, Dyson fixed the error on their end, therefore it's not applying the discount on the V15 :(

So, on Black Friday, one day only Superstore is offering 40,000 points for every $100.00 spent on Home Electronics, Toys, Cosmetics, Health & Beauty, Pharmacy (I gather prescriptions are excluded), and Joe Fresh Apparel.

That's basically 40% off on everything under those categories. This includes electronics and items already on sale. Damn.............

Fricken hell........ the place is huge! I met the gal who used to work at the Coquitlam location. She's now one of the managers (or whatever they're called) at the Abby location and she told me they have the largest Surplus section in all of Canada, including their flagship store in Winnipeg.

Also, an interesting tidbit. Princess Auto in Coquitlam is going to be renovated. 'Bout time. Shoppers from this side of the river aren't tickled by going into the valley to get cheap crappy tools, gulolol.

Anyone seen any deals on cheap wine glasses?

Of course when I finally want to buy them Costco doesn’t have their 6 pack for $30 that they had for ages previously :/

My usual go-to spot for wine glasses is HomeSense or TJMax down in the US.

Quite decent quality general speaking and very affordable. To a point where you wouldn't feel a thing when some stupid kid from your guests just happens to break one. There are a few brands that frequent in those stores. You can even choose to stick to a particular brand if uniformity is a thing for your household.

Shoppers Drug Mart is having their Bonus Points Redemption Event on Friday. Biggest one of the year. $400.00 for 250000 worth of points. On-Line and in store purchases. From Friday to Wednesday the 29th.

Yah they carry reidel glasses which are decent mid range wine glasses.

Hondaracer 11-22-2023 06:33 AM

The Costco ones were the best deal going for “party” stemware don’t want to bring out the good stuff for an Xmas party lol

Ended up getting 12 glasses for $49 off amazon, I’m sure they are garbage but won’t care if they break

I'm on koodo and was paying $35/12gb. Pretty much every carrier is offering $35/30gb for black friday right now. I just called retentions and got that plan. It's a 4G plan but IDGAF.

Call the regular CS line and ask for retentions or loyalty. You can schedule a callback from the chatbot so it might work better if you want them to call you instead. Took me 10 minutes after calling in. They'll say that because you're changing plans, they have to charge you $15 to do it. Ask them nicely to waive it :)

I got $65/100GB Canada/US with a Telus as a Black Friday deal

It’s an EPP plan though

I've had this plan for a couple months now, last week they offered $50 for 60GB Canada/US for EPP plans and I was going to jump on it since I don't come close to 60GB in a month but figured I'd wait for Black Friday to see if anything better came out.

Now they've taken it away and are only offering it to new subscribers so I might have fucked myself out of saving $15 a month lol

Not sure if it's worth the hassle of switching to Rogers EPP to get the deal.
