2023 Black Friday/Cyber Monday Pre-Black Friday, Black Friday Week, etc. Times have changed. In any case, any good or better deals, please share. Won't be long before they have Black Friday Month. Black Fridays Matter! Origin of Black Friday has nothing to do with anything except, you're supposed to be out of the red and into the black. Don't think common folk will ever get out of the red theses days. |
https://www.realcanadiansuperstore.c...&mi_u=17814804 If you have an Optimum Card, for every $100.00 spent on electronics, Toys, Baby, Cosmetics, Health & Beauty, Pharmacy, and Joe Fresh Apparel, you get 25000 points back. So 25% off, in other words. Get it as close to the nearest $100.00 for best bang. From November 16th to November 23. Wait, Black Friday is the 24th.................. better deals on the way???? |
For Princess Auto Fans.............. Mega Smasher https://www.princessauto.com/en/flye...auto&locale=en |
Not really a great deal, but the offer doesn't happen that often. Damn you, Costco. They stopped carrying Apple Gift Cards at a discount. Anyhow, Superstore has 10% off Apple Gift Cards. For every $50.00, get 5000 points. Up to $500.00 worth. One time use. I download lots of music, so any bit helps. Now, if I can only figure out how to use my gift card balance to purchase shit for my on-line games, it'd be great. |
As I said in the Costco thread, anyone looking for a TV, if you go into Bestbuy and have them beat Visions offer, you should be able to get a longer free warranty as well as BB beat the visions price on any TV they are offering it on, some good value there although I still hate BestBuy |
I’m gonna go buy some Black Friday steam games. Nothing else seems that interesting. |
As for Entertainment Electronics, my only go to place is Sunny Electronics. I get best prices with no haggling needed. Owner sees me and knows right away............... gulolol. Warranty issues? He takes care of it all. Speedy service? No, but I know what to expect. |
I find that the good deals happen before Black Friday nowadays, at least for electronics. I'm focusing on home improvement this year and bought these Lutron Caseta smart light switches since they're priced at an all-time low. Pretty happy with the system so far - feels more stable than my Kasa light switches. https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B01M3XJUAD?...roduct_details Quote:

I usually keep my eye on KMS for Milwaukee tools. https://www.kmstools.com/kmsflyeronline/#page1 They had this 3/8" M12 Ratchet and 1/2 Impact Gun with Batteries and charger for $300. Perfect for winter/spring swaps and the ratchet just makes everything quicker than a hand ratchet in most cases. It's sold out for this month, but I have noticed its been at this price for the combo since Oct, so its probably going to pop back up again. https://www.kmstools.com/catalog/pro...t-m12-ratchet/ This 5 tool combo is also great for basic home needs and comes with the 3/8" ratchet as well. https://www.kmstools.com/catalog/pro...ght-combo-kit/ |

Coquitlam is the ghetto location, but has its charm. |

If anyone come across a deal on Dyson V15, let me know. For now it seems the best deal is 979-200 at Costco. I want to see if there are better deals. |
I'm hoping to switch to a new phone plan; hopefully the deals are good this BF... |

In August, I decided to upgrade the phone. Not a big upgrade. Went from iPhone XR to iPhone 13. I go to Bellingham every week, so US data was important. $55/month for 40 GB data +5G. I use maximum 6 gb a month, but unlimited talk and text to/from Canada and US is great. Data is unlimited in both countries, but speed reduces after the 40 GB. I've been with Wind/Freedom for a while, so it made sense to stay with them. The transfer was supposed to be simple, but I think the people at Kingsgate location were a little green. The rate during PNE was slightly better, but it was only for new accounts. I also received $5.00 off per month for loyalty or something like that. So, $50.00/month for 40GB. |
Also need a new microwave if anyone sees any good deals. Panasonic Inverter preferred. Haven't seen anything yet... |

Oh, and there's a cheaper plan at 45 if you don't need roaming with 75GB. PM me if you want the rep info. |

That being said, I hardly have time to play now so I never end up buying new games, lol. I still have a few games that I'm backlogged on that I just installed to make sure it works and never got past the start menu yet. |
