I love spring training. Love it that they're broadcasting most of the games this year. Not all are Sportsnet coverage. Nice to be able to hear different announcers (visiting team). Different take on the Jays' players and team.
Pittsburgh coverage is so, win................... interviews during play. Jays score two, but they keep on doing the interview. Best part of it is Hanna Mears, Pittsburgh's sideline reporter/host.

Stanley Cup is in the Broadcast Booth. On the table between Dan and Buck............... Dan, not being a hockey guy is astonished by the cup. Buck knows a whole lot more about it than Dan.
Look up the history of the Stanley Cup. Many times it was left behind/lost. Found on the street, even. Dan is like..... "So the cup used to be this big back when, and they kept adding rings?"
The most coveted cup in history.

They're coming off a 3 game sweep of the CWS. Last place team, but still. Jamie Campbell got to toss the broom across the studio for the first time this season.
On a side note Pirate's Outfielder, Conner Joe is American with Chinese background. Funny how people claim Joe is Korean. LOL, the owners of Sunrise Market are about as Chinese as it get's (classmate). Their surname is Joe. Comes from word Cho. I guess it can be Korean butt...........not in this case. Kind of like Lee is not always a Chinese name. Brenda Lee don't look like no asian, Bob. Pirates have as many asians as Blue Jays have Latino's, gulolol.
WTF is wrong with Sportsnet? The Pirates half of the scoreboard is in bright yellow with white text. Fucking harder to read than whathisnuts' posts on RS chat.

Have fun and enjoy the game. Bask in the experience and get some overpriced ballpark food.
While not my first MLB game, my wife and I were at the Cincinnati Reds game against the Boston Red Sox a few weeks back. Great atmosphere and nice ball park. But if I'm being honest, the Toronto Blue Jays at the Rogers Centre do a way better job of enhancing the fan experience. Let us know how your experience is with Seattle!  | |

For sure I will let everyone know, cheap tickets in the nose bleeds and I heard horror stories about how much parking costs and I went to the Mariners site and found parking for $13.00. I'm actually excited to have my first ball park hot dog haha

I'm not going this year but I have plenty of times in previous years and it's always a good time. Make sure you load up at the concessions cause with the pitch clock you'll probably miss 2 innings waiting in line lol

The Blue Jays are not having a great season, but I'm now all about the New Jays.
Unfuckingbelievable.
I was so hoping to see Bowden Francis get a no-hitter in today's game. Went into the 9th inning and it wasn't meant to be. Baseball nowadays - a no-hitter is very rare.

First in baseball history. All because of a weird rule due to Covid. A rule that hasn't changed.
Blue Jays game two months ago went into rain delay and eventually got postponed/suspended. Well, today is the make up game. So, double header. First game is the make up game. Up to the plate before the rain was Danny Jansen. He happened to be on the Blue Jays team at the time. Now he's on The Boston Red Sox team. He's catching in today's game as a Red Sox, but a pinch hitter is at bat in Danny Jansen's place. Hitting and catching at the same time, lol.
The game, of course starts at the top of the second. It's just weird. Funny as all hell. A lot of people, like me, don't get it.....................

New Jays and BC Lions on at the same time.
I've been listening to the Jays since beginning of the game. Just got home about 30 minutes ago. Buck and Dan are so much better than the two who are covering the game on Sirius XM. I should've listened to the game via SN The Fan 590 on Radio Player app. All three are Sportsnet, but different people. Buck and Dan>Fan 590>Sirius XM. 12-0 for Jays........... not even listening to the Lions. The last three Lions games have been hideous. I have the game recorded. Will watch the first quarter then take it from there............
