Started a new contract gig last month so I'm getting to know my coworkers. One guy in particular I see often at the office. Struck up a conversation today with him. Quote:
Coworker: Hey do you have battery cables on you?
Me: Sorry, not on me. What's up?
Coworker: My car is acting up again
Me: What's wrong with it?
Coworker: Doesn't start. It's been an on and off problem
Me: What car is it?
Coworker: I'm not sure? It's my dad's old car. It's from the 90s
Me: New battery?
Coworker: Pretty new, yeah
Me: Hmm, maybe check the alternator? Are the interior lights flickering?
Coworker: OH YES! Maybe it is that. I've taken it to a few shops here and there but nothing really fixed the problem
| Me: Goes to see car...

But the RX7 needs lower octane?
Also side note: did you ever live/visit "the one"? I swear your Golf R is familiar.

wowoowo thats an impressive collection of fun cars! you turning into a 69stylez.... although i do feel if i had to choose between the new Z and the Supra, id probably just keep the Supra. The new Z is basically the old Z with a facelift isnt it?

Will it blow up? I haven't heard of any huge issues with vq besides burning oil. I dunno about turbo ones though. Na infiniti v6 v8 seem generally reliable compared to BMW counterparts.

Did dude win the lottery or something? Who buys 2 brand new rwd sports cars and a hot hatch? Circuit Edition of that one no less! On top of their Mustang and Raptor?
And then complains in the real estate thread about house prices? lol
Nice colour choices. C Yu Later Grey was my last cut for the Supra before deciding on Stratosphere Blue. I also enjoy the front aero effects on the Mustang, turn some pedestrians legs into chop suey hahaha

A friend is going through the motions of dealing with his right now as he's trying to figure out if he needs a new engine or not.

I’d…. Buy something with more substance.
1 fun daily like a CTR or a GR Corolla is good. Then one RWD sports car like the supra. And the rest of the money can go into a RR or a Bentley / Ferrari / Lambo. Then you got all your bases covered.
Oh and the truck of course. You gotta keep the truck.

I blame that cunt for making me into an old white lady. I even like eating prunes now cuz she always keeps a jar of prunes on her desk and I steal some when I got a sweet craving.
I asked her one time, hey Mabel why don’t you get some decent snacks for fuck sakes ?!?
She’s like I don’t have any of that Chinese shit you like.
I’m like what the hell do I pay you for then ?!
