A legit luxury car even with 4 cylinders. Cruised up to 90mph like it was nothing, nice ride quality, very quiet, impeccable fit and finish. Easily a class above the A5 I had at the start of the week. Was it sporty? Nope - it could be a little bouncy over some surfaces and wandered a bit more than I expected of a German but it was a sled I'd happily drive across the country (but give me the inline 6).
Bonus pic - my California cousin just got a First Edition Land Cruiser a few weeks back. Had to pay $10k above MSRP to get it. Beauty of a beast. Heck of a climb to get in though.
I literally do not plan on buying another vehicle in my lifetime, assuming it doesn't get written off.

Meanwhile, I'm trying to reduce my cylinders count, but the math just isn't working out in my favour...
I need an excuse to make it work, and it needs to be a darn good excuse lol~
I heard the Corolla GR has only 3 cylinders.
In all seriousness, who even today produces an inline 6 engine in a production vehicle?

So that thing is like 120k? I had no idea they were hitting the streets already.

He's in Cali and said he ended up paying $95k USD all-in which adds up as MSRP is $76k and he said he had to pay $10k on top of that. Apparently the sales folks tried to lard on other add-ons are outrageous markups like wheel locks for $1k.
Very serious. I thought inline 6 engines were phased out in favour of turbocharged 4-bangers and V6s.

They're back now because pretty much everyone has settled on 500cc cylinders especially in a 2L 4 cylinder configuration so tacking on 2 more cylinders to that setup is easy stuff. BMW, Mercedes, Stellantis and Mazda all are on the bandwagon now. Mazda's a weirdo though - they didn't just add 2 cylinders onto their 2L motor and went all new with a 3.3L displacement and a single turbo that tops out at 340hp.
