If you want to drive it to work, I guess it's moot, but but some mods are allowed for collector's plates. Aftermarket wheels are fine as long as they're era correct and is within 1" of OEM wheels IIRC. The office was easy to work with when I reached out to them prior to putting in my application for my Miata.

there's 20 guys in the corrado crew. several have collector plates that have more mods than me (1 is a full turbo kit along w 2" over stock 17" wheels). A few have applied w stock cars and not gotten through w dirty headliners or paint issues. i know the collector program guys are actually pretty cool about these cars at the office (they like them).

as you said - it's kind of moot. i just want to be able to use my cars without any restrictions. usually i just move a plate around throughout the summer for 28 bucks a pop.

This is actually the first time all my cars have been insured at the same time. If it wasn't so spread out with renewals it would be shocking, but it just worked out this year that they're all plated. Next year I'll go back to a moving plate setup.

Found metal shavings in my oil pan after a track day at VIMC back in May.
Did my first engine swap (K24) and got it ripping at Ridge in September

Spoiler!
What're your thoughts so far, comparing F22 vs K24 in the car?

Must be so much better to drive, just a better engine in all aspects... more torque, better power band, way less peaky, more peak HP

Probably only loses out a bit in sound... when I had a k-swap EK it sounded like shit no matter what exhaust was on it... it's either angry bees or angrier bees, take your pick lol

Impressive, what were the total hours to engine swap first time?

Both sounds pretty similar, from the back / hearing it drive around. Sounds sick af is what it is

So, J.C. Now that you've swapped a K-series engine, want to do the same for my R53 Mini?

Do not say yes.

That is what I love about Golden Era Hondas. Blow an engine. No problem. Not much downtime at all.
