the gr supra is one of the few sports car that look exotic without actually being a exotic car, the front end looks so low and nice, actually had white one following me this morning, I kept staring at my rearview mirror the whole time, it looks so good, especially much better in person than on paper

Yep. This happens to me quite frequently on my daily commute LMAO. They just want to see you do a pull or try to challenge. Hell I did that a bunch back when I just got my license lol.

I usually don't entertain it. But sometimes I will. Depending on how well I'm doing on my fuel economy in that tank lol.

Cuz the supra really has road presence with a low stance, I don't think anyone has to be a car guy to say "hey that looks cool" or "that's a sports car". Meanwhile an m3 is much more understated, it's just a 3 series to normal ppl

I can't think of any sports cars brand new under 100k that has the road presence of the supra, the c8 corvette has it but idk if you can even get it for 100k

Supra is a SMALL car, I'm 6' tall and I'm probably close to the limit of what's comfy in there, if the roof didn't have that double bubble thing I think my hair would be brushing the headliner lightly. I don't personally have trouble getting in and out of it even at my advanced age, I even somehow instinctually seemed to pick up on doing the head duck not to whack it on the roofline... but my poor dad is like 77 and overweight and he had a horrible time trying to get into the passenger seat lol

The Supra has to be one of the only examples where the successor car is actually smaller than the one before it. I sat in one while I was trying to talk myself out of the M2 and couldn't believe how much shorter it seemed.

As a sports car, it's probably all the better for it too.

I paid MSRP, I think you can get discounts on some automatics now... they're sitting a bit... but it was a hard no when I tried with the manual. I did get them to knock down the documentation fee though, they jacked it like $400 since I first ordered it so I said they should honour what it was when I ordered mine... and also I pointed out that 3 other Toyota dealerships in the lower mainland all had $595 fees so why is their fee nearly a grand?!

It's hard to say what the worth is to anyone, I only wanted a manual... but I have no qualms about admitting the automatic is both faster and probably a better choice for a lot of people. I just get so bored driving automatic and I feel like it brings the car to life in a way that the auto version I drove before doesn't.
