Alpine's head of aero and technical director have both resigned. This is going to be a dead season for them.

Ocon is signed for next year and Gasly until end of 26. I can see Ocon trying to find a way out.

scary part is we just dunno how much more pace Max can dish out... he controlled from start to finish, was never even remotely in danger /// scary to think if he has pushed... how much more of a gap could he have done...

^ It's beyond belief how much faster Max is compared to Checo. Not a Checo fan but he's not THAT slow.

Well.... I dont like Max, but there is no denying his talent is off the charts.

Other than raw driver skill which I think has a small but not insignificant part in speed, another big reason you have to remember is that the car is built around Max and his driving style. Because Max is the no. 1 driver, if both drivers have conflicting inputs during development, the whole team will take Maxs needs amd wants everytime. That is just the unfortunate truth for Checo. You can only do so much with setup, but the car from the ground up is designed to perform at its peak when Max is behind the wheel.

The whole thing with RedBull and Jos Verstappen/Horner smells a lot like Jos Verstappen wanting to push Horner out and potentially get himself the job, however unlikely the job may land to him in the event that Horner does depart. They need to keep him out of the paddock.

Supposedly these are the leaked files that was distributed around the paddock.

I just saw a clip on IG with Albon talking about Max as a team mate, he said as the season goes on he wants the car tighter and tighter and tighter (albon compared this to gaming with a mouse and cranking the sensitivity up to the max where a slight flinch sends the cursor across the screen)

He said as a driver who drove the “same” car, he found that in having that tight of a front end, it gets to the point where you aren’t in that float state or whatever you call it where you’re acting on instinct instead of thinking, he said it became increasingly hard to not think about each turn, which, as a result, usually ends up in crashing or at the very least, getting out of position and overtaken

Lol, if those are in fact real texts, they're pretty PG, but definately seems like something was going on. And people who shorten "you" to "u" in texts always bother me. Makes you sound like a freaking gradeschooler.

This whole drama was because of an accusation of sexual harassment, but if those texts are real, they seem like things were concensual and reciprocal?

The internal investigation turned out to be a nothingburger so whoever who's got a vested interest in this emailed a link to a gdrive of the said incriminating conversation to F1, FIA, all the F1 team bosses, and a bunch of journalists.

I'm unsure if the above drive encompasses all that was emailed or if it was the original gdrive link, but of the few screenshots that I sampled it wasn't that spicy if not slightly inappropriate.

There was a warning that more would be released during the race weekend but nothing have since come up.
