As Ferrari can you really say you’re getting up upgrade with Hamilton over Sainz? Sainz has been incredibly consistent with shitty cars the last 2-3 years and while Hamilton has had an ever worse car, who’s to say he will perform better with his age etc.

I agree, but from a marketing perspective, having Hamilton will bring more fans/merch sales, I'm sure.

Imo they are the team most concerned with winning a championship, nothing matters more in their business model than being at the top of F1, and it’s kinda hard to say Hamilton will provide that opportunity
