Not sure why some people hate him so much, he came off as pretty nice and down to earth on that episode.
Went back for extras on the Da Bomb, that's gangster.

I’ve never been a Hamilton fan, moreso because I liked other drivers more than overlapped his entry into F1 and ultimately the current lineup.
For me though it’s like any sport, no one likes a whiner. But you’re also probably not getting screen time if you’re losing and you’re a whiner. Everything I’ve ever seen from Lewis seems like he’s a legitimately nice person, just never cared for him as a driver.
I’m sure a lot of the hate he receives is undoubtedly based in racism

I’m sure a lot of the hate he receives is undoubtedly based in racism | I find it funny he's called a whiner when literally every major F1 driver is a whiner, they all whine about shit.
Their teammates, the cars, the officials, it's all the same.
Most of these guys are young, privileged, and come off that way.

Best qualifying session so far.
It was absolutely wild.
Would recommend watching the whole thing instead of the highlights

Barcelona was a logistical nightmare since the circuit is near Montmello vs. CGV being a station away from the city.
Don't get me wrong, getting out from CGV and onto the train was pretty bad too since everyone's trying to leave the island at the same time, but it felt much more manageable.
The weather was hot as hell when we arrived on Wednesday and for the pit-walk on Thursday. We got to meet Danny, Lando, Piastri, Hulk, Yuki, and Zhou, which was pretty fucking awesome! Rain came at the start of FP1 and towards the race, on and off. A pair of good boots and ponchos was enough this time, since it wasn't a downpour.
The rain made things so exciting and we sat at the hairpin (Lance Stroll) for the majority, except for FP1 where we got invited into the Amex Lounge at the pit-straight. The Lance Stroll grandstand had great vantage points and will renew my tickets for next year to see Lewis in a Ferrari.
Honestly it felt like the race was in our backyards, it was a short 4.5-5hr flight, no need to worry about exchange rates, roaming eSIMS, or anything else since it was still Canada. Food is amazing in Montreal, whats not to love lol and tickets are relatively cheap compared to all your other North America races (LV, Austin, and Miami)
Fans all around the world were fun, everyone was really friendly regardless on which team or driver you're cheering for. HIGHLY recommend attending this race, the city comes alive, so many things to do and see (Peel, Crescent, Old Port) all had their own F1 street festivals.

I looked at going next year briefly but hotels that allow me to book that far out are all around $1k per night. What did you do for accommodation?

If you want to meet drivers, stay at the Ritz, that's where most of the drivers stay and when we walked by, there was always a crowd of Sharl fans lol

That pass by George was sick, even with DRS. Lewis played it perfectly giving only an inch, and George took it

How about that stellar drive today by Perez to go from 11th to 8th driving that barn eh? Only finished 59 seconds behind 1st place. Stunning, give that man another contract extension!

I’m convinced he has pics of Max or Horner, doesn’t make any sense why he got extended.

I`m still flabbergasted that he got a 2-year extension, even though it`s technically a 1+1. I`d rather have Sainz in that 2nd seat.

pretty good spanish GP. the start was great, the passes were great. strategy was actually a factor vs a safety car or a pitstop fuk up
love to see hamilton on the podium

Another stellar drive by Perez who climbs from 8th to 7th, finishes just behind the Haas of Hulkenberg, 18 seconds behind his 3 stopping teammate, and 56s from the lead. /s
