bcrdukes 09-03-2024 11:26 AM

Thems fighting words.

I loved Reese's PB cups and O'Henry as a kid. Granted, I grew up as a white boy in Alberta :lol

I love the KEG. now thats good value for the money.

all these other fancy steak restaurants can suck it. Nothing beats a medium rare prime rib, with twiced bake potato and free bread / free cake for 50 bucks.

For the folks that want the prime rib experience without hurting the wallet too much at The Keg, order the 18oz prime rib and request the server/kitchen to split the portion

Works out to be $27 per person with roughly 9oz each

Then you'll have extra room for the optional appetizers and the billy miner :sweetjesus:

Would you have liked them better if you had consumed them at lunch instead of during recess?

What I mean is I'm CBC lol. Had I not moved to Richmond, I would have never bothered learning Cantonese.

I agree with I don't get the chocolate and peanut butter thing. The only good Reece's would be in my pants

Chocolate and Peanut butter is reserved for ladies on the rag, yeah I said it. :)

punkwax 09-04-2024 02:59 PM

You guys are crazy. It’s tradition for me to steal a peanut butter cup from my kids Halloween bag.

Badhobz 09-04-2024 03:14 PM

Yes!!!!! That’s 3 broskis against the hoard of chocolate peanut butter fanatics.

Yarg to bad food combinations!!! Yarg I say

red kryptonite 09-04-2024 05:02 PM

2 peanut butter cups, slab of crunchy peanut butter and scoop of vanilla ice cream and a sprinkle of sea salt…. :fullofwin: is it too sweet? You bet it is

Okay I have a reply for the last 2 posts (vegemite + kaya toast)

I went to Sooyo cafe in E. Van and had a croissant with kaya and butter. It was flipping amazing. Not too sweet but very buttery. Had to google what kaya was. The taste was not coconut forward.

Vegemite: tasted way better than I expected. I spread it thin on buttered toast and it was an umami bomb - very savory like soy sauce. I think it tasted better now since I'm older.

Last time I tried Marmite and that was almost 10 years ago. I still have the jar but I'm not sure if Marmite goes bad. It's from 2015 but still smells the same?

Will try the vegemite cheese toast with fresh vegemite (if I can find any) and some Milo.

unit 09-05-2024 07:15 AM

never tried vegemite but i have tried marmite... not a fan

SkinnyPupp 09-05-2024 07:37 AM

I tried vegemite recently and it's basically soy sauce paste. I don't see the point of it being a spread

They're not the same - Marmite is sweeter, Vegemite is more intense. Vegemite is better.

So it's easier to spread on toast? I can't imagine spreading soy sauce on toast lol.

Sure but why would you want to spread soy sauce on toast? DansGame

roastpuff 09-05-2024 08:13 AM

Umami bomb + rich in B vitamins? It tastes good?

I blame my Aussie friends for introducing it to me?
