I used to really like pop tart when I was a kid. A cold pop tarts in strawberry flavour and the white icing / frosting with sprinkles does it for me.

I haven’t had one in years

I bought four boxes of KD today for $5 thanks to this thread. Will enjoy at some point...

Not so much, those are more sweet rice cake well the texture on these is much closer to a chip.

Cereal. As a kid we would always have a bowl of cereal as a snack when we got home from school. As an adult I have bowl for my morning snack and often before bed. Nothing crazy sweet, and often with regular milk, but blander cereal with chocolate milk.

I don't do cereal, but No Frills on Hastings Street and Clark Drive had Captain Crunch peanut booster cereal for 99¢. I had to get a box. Back of the box had a coupon for a free box of Captain Crunch cereal bar. What a deal! This was about a month or so ago.

Anyway, I used to have puffed riced cereal when I was a kid. That was all we could afford back then. Classmates had Fruit Loops and Lucky Charms............. so jelly I was.

SkinnyPupp 01-24-2024 08:43 PM

I still laugh at organic dates being a guilty pleasure. Every time this thread gets bumped... Sorry but it's hilarious EleGiggle

Bra you don’t know what you’re missing. Shit tastes like a chocolate bar and it’s (kinda) healthier lol

I’ve bought them before for charcuterie but this was the first time I actually had a bag and ate them fresh, delicious. Figs are the same thing

I know they're great! We used to buy buckets of them. But it's kind of not what makes a food guilty lol

Just tell me you dip hot dog buns in syrup while watching Oprah or something and just forgot until now LUL

Do yourself a favour and grab the Cracker Barrel next time.

It’s like a teenager who used fake ID to buy 2 litres of Growers before growing up to try some Veuve Clicquot. Sure, it’s not Dom, but you won’t go back.

Yup, shit you kind of don't want to admit to others you actually ate or better yet, enjoyed it.

As a kid, every time I got sick I ate raw bacon. I have no idea, but it always worked. I would puke at just thinking about it now.

Raw meatloaf........ I always looked forward to sneaking some when my mom was not looking. Especially when she added lots of raw eggs and onions to the mix.

Uncooked cake mix........ was told it would kill me, but here I am.

I'm pretty sure they stopped selling them in Canada, a large line of delissio products are no longer being sold here.

I so had to find the article

fack! didn't realize they were discontinued..... been eating them for YEARS. they're the reason i never get dominos/pizza hut/etc because why buy a pizza for $15++ when i can get an entire pizza for $3 or less and just bake it myself?

I know where to purchase these and no guarantee they will have it in stock.

It's inside Lansdowne Mall at a store called Smart n Save.

I was only able to snag two bags last time and haven't seen it in a while.

I guess you need to go down south to get them, I'm going in a couple weeks so I should stock up haha

unit 01-25-2024 07:46 AM

for me it's frozen pizza. i love pizza in general, i hardly ever met one i didnt like. i even make it at home on my baking steel, and now i have a 16" ooni that i plan to use all summer. still i like the cheap $3 or slightly more balling $10 pizzas you get at the grocery store that you can make in like 30m from oven preheat to done cooking. it's also a great way to use up my other love, hot sauces.

murd0c 01-25-2024 07:52 AM

I have the Ooni Karu and its fantastic. I really like the dual fuel option using propane when I'm lazy and wood chips/pellets and charcoal when I want to make a day of it. They sear a steak really nicely as well and awesome with homemade calzones.

spoon.ek9 01-25-2024 07:58 AM

I dunno if i'll cross the border just to pick up some delissio lol. maybe if my craving for it is really bad it'll motivate me. i'm pretty lazy on my one off day per week though :lol

pastarocket 01-25-2024 08:46 AM

McD’s food is also a guilty pleasure for me.

Good news! The McRib is coming back to Canada starting on January 30th!
