fack! didn't realize they were discontinued..... been eating them for YEARS. they're the reason i never get dominos/pizza hut/etc because why buy a pizza for $15++ when i can get an entire pizza for $3 or less and just bake it myself?

It's not delivery, it's Delissio! :lawl:

My guilty pleasure is Indomie, with a fried egg on top. Just like TypeRNammer does. Mm that sweet and spicy taste with the fried shallots.

If anyone is curious about the McRib, I managed to try it at one of the pilot locations here in Toronto (Brampton, specifically.)

I did also get a chance to try it in 2022 in the US and noticed there is a big difference in quality and texture between the US and Canadian patty, where I find the Canadian one is better quality overall.

When I tried the McRib at the Brampton location, an Air Canada employee on his break tried to order one and the restaurant had just run out of onions. He threw a hissy fit and got angry, went on a 10 minute rant about how he tried so hard to find it, and settled for a Big mac lol

Badhobz 01-25-2024 10:15 AM

where is our mcrib in vancouver!? (that sounds like mc crib, like if mcdinks sould baby stuff)

murd0c 01-25-2024 10:19 AM

the mcrib hasn't been the same since it came out the first time in the mid 90's for the Flintstones movie promotion. It was so incredible back then and ever since it hasn't even been close to as good.

Puritan meatballs in gravy.

It has to be Puritan brand anything else is a no go. Heat it up on the stove and pour it over cold rice. Heaven.

It’s the first thing I check out when I go to a Walmart :okay:

Puritan beef/irish stew with rice is so dam good. throw in some sriracha

I do this too but add chicken lol.

KD + hotdogs +ketchup slaps. esp if you add some kraft cheese slices or other cheddar into it.

used to be lazy and just mix the powder+milk+butter+cheese into the same pot as the macaroni, but now I make the sauce seperate and pour it in and its game changing.

I have had this when I was younger but the problem I have with it as an adult is open a can of this or the stew up and then open a can of canned dog food, they smell very similar. I haven't eaten it in so many years lol.

Bought a box of Twinkies from Costco yesterday - 24 of them for $10.99. They are disgustingly good in the worst kind of way. Odd to see that the expiry date is in late March though, though they lasted forever.

MG1 01-27-2024 06:27 AM

Tim Horton's Chicken Noodle Soup from Costco. It had easy open lids and under $2.00 each. It's pretty good. Nothing spectacular, but instead of rice or crackers, I poured some Hostess Hickory Sticks over the bowl of soup. It was one of those matches made in hell.............. the sticks were kind of stale (expired), but the smokey hickory flavour (simulated, of course) added enough weird goodness, it might become my new quick go to, meal. Crackers........ so white, they are.

Hmmmmmm........ next. Doritos?

Here's an ugly thought. Doritos and rice. That would definitely gross me out. Definitely count as a guilty pleasure, gulolol.

Then you have to try Mashups.

Only available in the US of A. I think Walmart are the only ones to carry them. Fudge coated Ding Dongs. Junk food addicts call it the new Chocodiles.

Spoiler!

Keep them in fridge or better yet, freezer. I have a couple of boxes in the garage. Tucked away - apocalypse food.

Crispy Chicken at Jinya is addictive. I have to go to my office today to grab something and am definitely taking the boy for a tasty treat while I’m on Robson.
