Double that my man. More than hobz can afford pal. Unless he goes on strike again.

i dont even want one. When shit gets that expensive, i wouldnt even dare drive it. Id just keep it holed up in the house and then whats the point.

I was saying to dark yesterday that given a choice, i rather buy an R34 GTR than a 458 (can you believe that the 458 is almost 20 years old now!??!?! what the fuck). My old-man-ey-ness is showing and i wanna relive my lost youth. Douchebag ferrari ownership doesn't appeal to me as much as before. Neither is owning a car that you shouldnt really drive due to the rarity of it all.

westopher 09-22-2024 07:37 AM

I bet it's easier to find a good 458 than r34 at this point.
I feel a bit of the fear of driving the e30, but it's more about fucking it up mechanically and paying thousands for a car I barely use. If someone hits it, please don't kill me is the only request.

Badhobz 09-22-2024 07:42 AM

Yeah your e30 is in the same league as any of those other collectors cars. I’d be terrified to even take it out. Hell that thing will one day pay for little V’s down payment / Ivy League tuition.

320icar 09-22-2024 08:44 AM

Westopher, just k swap it with some drag cartel cam’s and ITB. Would cost1/3 as much as trying to fix an s14 and yet have twice the power

westopher 09-22-2024 08:56 AM

It shit ever hit the fan I would pull the s52 out of the e36, s54 swap that and probably have 90% of it paid for by the broken s14 as long as the block didn't have a hole in it.
I'd somehow end up with both cars being better, but e30 would lose a fair bit of value, which I dont care.

:considered:

I disagree Hobz. That's a sick car. Nice wheels on that ride from what many friends say after seeing that picture.

If only we had more McLaren P1, Ferrari Daytona SP3, or maybe a Koenigsegg One/Agera in the Lower Mainland. A 1963 Ferrari 250 GTO. Lamborghini Veneno etc.

Rare exotics and collector cars.

Badhobz 10-09-2024 07:15 PM

Beetles are lame ! LAaaameeeeee !!!! La mane ?

No pictures since I was driving by, but some one was picking their kid at the elementary school today in a Lambo Sian. It's a public school in Fraserview, so it isn't even some rich WV or West side area.

I'm a total Porsche dickrider but I can't believe how boring the new 911s are visually. It's probably just because they are everywhere.

Badhobz 10-11-2024 05:45 PM

yes its the same boring ass blob that they've made since the 996... at least the older air cooled ones look properly retro. This semi retro/modern styling of anything past the 997 looks like an ass. Especially this 991 garbage.

headhunt3r 10-11-2024 10:02 PM

Saw some of those cool ones at Fergies the last time I did a Squamish run in the morning. https://i.imgur.com/7eQk3V2.jpeg

Average new home in that area is around $4m so pretty rich area if you ask me.

I'm just grateful they drive that instead of turning it into a garage queen. Lucky souls who get to hear that rev.

dark0821 11-07-2024 11:00 AM

trollface 11-07-2024 12:44 PM

That LFA is parked on Riverroad, drive deff does not have an N and never revs it.

Badhobz 11-07-2024 01:30 PM

It’s a young ish Asian guy. He lives off of no2 road and Granville area. I see him all the time.

He waves to me when I drive my ratrolla. Nice guy. I wonder if his LFA is like a rebuilt or something cuz that’s a million bucks daily. Why do this ?

bcrdukes 11-07-2024 01:50 PM
