Lafferty was going to be a UFA in a few days anyway, so to have him included, while getting a 4th rounder back for a 2nd rounder, and only retaining 700k for 2 yrs.... i'd say that's pretty good. Mik's cap was holding everything up |

If only the Stanley Cup can talk. It probably have some crazy ass stories with what players do with it. lol. |
15% retained is $712,500. That's less than league minimum for a player. Pretty palatable if you ask me. Also, the 2nd rounder is in 2027 so that defers our problem until later. Obviously we super short on 2nd rounders in our organization but we're in that win-now mode. We need guys who can immediately make the team better for next year. |

It's not bad at all. |
Watch Mikheyev turn into an absolute unit next year in Chicago hahahaha that would be such a Canucks thing to happen I mean, it seems totally impossible based on his eye test in my books, but fuck if I'm not afraid of that somehow |
It's ok really, I wish him the best. If he has a bounce back season, good for him. It really wasn't working for him here anymore. Lost his speed and hands of stone. He needed a change so he was willing to waive. I'd much rather we look for a solid top 6 forward to actually help Petey lol. |
Dak extended |
Not bad not bad |
Come on Allvin! Get a deal done for Zadorov. The team needs Big Z back! |
That's a great price for Joshua, big group of us were talking after hockey last night and saying 3.5 would be reasonable for Dak... I was afraid he might get as high as 4.5 from another team that got too excited about last year. I hope he can be more consistent, I didn't notice him much outside of the games he got multiple points in for the playoffs. |
Pretty sure he could have got 4+ from another team Fuck like even these last 2 days show how important good management is.. kinda going back to the direction of the Gillis era where management was smart enough to approach players in the vein of, if you want to stay here, this is the type of deal you need to take |
Garland $4.95M Blueger $1.8 Joshua $3.25 exactly $10M for our productive third line that's a great deal IMO. Don't forget the PK roles Dak and Blueger play as well. |
Dak is back! Big z next! Then Guentz or Toff July 1 |
I have to say though, feels bad for Blueger to be centering two wingers that gets paid way more, I thought centers are supposed to be paid a premium. |

He also doesn’t have the production his wingers do Garland is obviously making too much but the guys work ethic almost makes up for it |
