The DJ at T mobile was amazing.. I can’t remember what they were playing for penalties etc. but it was really funny.

Rick Dhaliwal spoke to fans on his recent Donnie and Dhali Show and said that there is nothing sinister going on with J.T. Miller and his need to take an absence from the Vancouver Canucks. When news surfaced on Tuesday that Miller was taking an indefinite leave, rumors swirled about alcohol and personal relationships and Dhaliwal suggested it was nothing of the kind.

Everybody wants the juicy National Enquirer story,” he said. He added, “There is nothing sinister going on here. This is a player that needs a reset, some time and space.”

Dhaliwal referenced the same situation with Corey Perry when he left the Chicago Blackhawks and that a rumor started linked to Connor Bedard. Honestly, one of the cons of being a high profile professional athlete is the risk of the athlete's personal life being under a constant microscope from fans and the media.

As Canucks fans, it is best to give JT the time and space to deal with what he is going through and respect his right to privacy.

Props to JT's wife for protecting her husband and herself from the constant noise of fans on social media speculating on the reasons behind his leave of absence. Shutting down her Instagram account is a smart move.

As a longtime Canucks fan, I just hope that JT gets his "mental reset" done soon so that he is back with the team.

I don't care about the reasons why he has left the team. Fans shouldn't care either and should stop speculating.

Focus on the team's play and cheer them to keep playing better and winning games.

Geez I wish I could skip out on my $6M UsD a year work after a whole summer off needing a mental reset less than 1/4 into the season.

This team has to deal with more ancillary bs than any other team I can ever remember in any sport.

I don't think these guys get "a summer off" though. The training is probably mentally and definitely physically tougher than anything we deal with. Compassion for rich people isn't my favourite pastime when they are pieces of shit, but we have no reason to think miller is.
We should be able to get these sort of benefits, it's not that they shouldn't.
