Good news from Demko: Randip Janda @RandipJanda · Thatcher Demko speaking after practice today: “I feel really good. This is the best I’ve felt in 7-8 months. I finally see a little light at the end of tunnel, for sure, and have a lot of direction in what we’re trying to accomplish” @Sportsnet650 #Canucks |

The DJ at T mobile was amazing.. I can’t remember what they were playing for penalties etc. but it was really funny. Also T mobile is wayyyy louder than Rogers because Americans know sports are sports and now some business meeting lol, playing metal and dubstep etc. the atmosphere there is crazy |
Anyone who plays last resort has my vote. |
I remember I was at a Seahawks game back in the day, and they played Metallica-Enter Sandman as their intro. Whole stadium went crazy. Good times. |

Yah. The music might have a slight impact on the game. If you got good music it can pump up the fans, and that music and energy can trickle down to the players. |
Have you guys seen the top youtube comment on the Last Resort video? Do yourself a favour if you haven't before :lol edit: looks like it changed Spoiler! |
Ovechkin out 4-6 weeks with a fractured fibula. Well fuck |
oh my ...that sucks big ballz! |
He was on such a tear this season it was like he stuck a needle in his ass in the offseason or something. He's too close to not get the record now it's just a matter of when. |

https://nhltradetalk.com/rumors-no-s...leave-canucks/ Rick Dhaliwal spoke to fans on his recent Donnie and Dhali Show and said that there is nothing sinister going on with J.T. Miller and his need to take an absence from the Vancouver Canucks. When news surfaced on Tuesday that Miller was taking an indefinite leave, rumors swirled about alcohol and personal relationships and Dhaliwal suggested it was nothing of the kind. Everybody wants the juicy National Enquirer story,” he said. He added, “There is nothing sinister going on here. This is a player that needs a reset, some time and space.” Dhaliwal referenced the same situation with Corey Perry when he left the Chicago Blackhawks and that a rumor started linked to Connor Bedard. Somebody threw it out there on the Internet and everybody believed it. It turned out to be a lie and stories here connected to Miller that fans might be throwing out there are also likely untrue. Honestly, one of the cons of being a high profile professional athlete is the risk of the athlete's personal life being under a constant microscope from fans and the media. It sucks. Does all that money and fame make up for the intrusions into a pro athlete's personal life and private space? :considered: As Canucks fans, it is best to give JT the time and space to deal with what he is going through and respect his right to privacy. Props to JT's wife for protecting her husband and herself from the constant noise of fans on social media speculating on the reasons behind his leave of absence. Shutting down her Instagram account is a smart move. As a longtime Canucks fan, I just hope that JT gets his "mental reset" done soon so that he is back with the team. I don't care about the reasons why he has left the team. Fans shouldn't care either and should stop speculating. Focus on the team's play and cheer them to keep playing better and winning games. |
If it wasn’t Vancouver he could probably step away and no one would think about it after a game or two. But of course here everyone is ravenous for details |
TMZ bullshit from Canadian market as usual. |
Even if there was something juicy or sinister, how would media get that info. Unless someone close to JT released it. The only time media gets info is if JT himself told the media. |

Geez I wish I could skip out on my $6M UsD a year work after a whole summer off needing a mental reset less than 1/4 into the season. This team has to deal with more ancillary bs than any other team I can ever remember in any sport. |
I don't think these guys get "a summer off" though. The training is probably mentally and definitely physically tougher than anything we deal with. Compassion for rich people isn't my favourite pastime when they are pieces of shit, but we have no reason to think miller is. We should be able to get these sort of benefits, it's not that they shouldn't. |
