Bruins would need to retain 20% plus salary for the next 5 years. Probably not happening.

It's been discussed before and no one thinks it makes any sense. Our problems are on the right side, not the left. Also, we already gave up assets last year to acquire him, we really shouldn't give up any more for him to come back. Bruins won't be willing to retain enough salary for it to be feasible for us either. As much as we all loved having Big Z, it made total sense for the Canucks to let him walk.

Deharnais

with Hronek injured, of course.

-latest update about Hronek from GM Allvin:
Hronek underwent a successful lower body procedure and will not require surgery on his upper body injury. Hronek will be out approximately eight weeks.

Man I hope Miller comes back soon... there are so many ugly rumors floating around all the industry insiders lately I wish it would be put to rest. Everything from him wanting to be traded from Van and trade rumors with NYR as a result to infidelity with a teammates wife. Crazy days in Canuckville these days.

I believe Dhali reported that there is no trade in the works. Just a rumour. Teams might be calling to check in about Miller with the Canucks but our team isn't putting him on the block or anything of the sort. I swear, this market just wants the juicy scoop and will start any damn rumour to try and get some clout regardless of how this might hurt the player and/or the team.
Rumours about infidelity are always a go-to when it comes to players. Until I see a player personally confirm such a story, I'm not inclined to believe the media or "insiders" about it. Most will never put their name beside such claims.

I think the Miller rumour about him being too hard on his teammates and generally being difficult to be around might be on the money. When he left, Allvin said he’d “come back as a better player and teammate.” He got into it with Petey at practice and now look how Petey’s performed since Miller left.
He’s a bit of an asshole. That’s part of what makes him great. That can also be draining in the locker room if he’s always so intense.
Anyhoo, that’s the rumour that I believe.

Tough loss in OT. Boeser’s shot hits a post on a two on nothing.
Kaprizov scores the winner.
Lankinen gets his first loss in a road game.

That OT could have went either way plus the blatant trip on Garland went uncalled

Anyhoo, that’s the rumour that I believe. | Ya. Was it Tocchet mention Miller plays better when he is pissed or angry? But I dunno if that is good for him all the time. Always turning into the Hulk for 82 games can wear you out lol.

They did better than I expected. Usually at the end of a long road trip they phone it in with a sloppy loss. This was a real solid effort!
