Ouch...we're getting torched. |
Why are our Canucks so inconsistent in the play when it comes to home games?? They had a good record at home last season. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Something is really off mentally with this team, the body language and communication is terrible. |

This is painful. |
Canucks beating panthers last game isn't anything special. Flames just torched them 3-0. Lol |
The team's probably just sick |
Several reliable sources... ie: Friedman and Biz are now saying publicly that Miller and Petey can't co-exist and managing their rift and the dressing room is a full time job now. This season is a bust unless those 2 can pull it together. No idea what happened between them that was so severe it can't be overcome, but when names that big in the field start saying there's fire behind the smoke it seems like there's something to it. |
So ... Alvin working on trade for Miller? Get a decent Dman back. |
It's like the Horvat and Miller thing all over again. But this time, it's Miller and Petey. I think Miller has some issues with anger management. Lol. |
I was worried about this when they gave the team to Miller after shipping Bo. I know he's the better player, but... But maybe it's all in our heads LUL |

Asked if it's possible to keep Demko and Lanks together. Answer was yes, need good goaltending to win. Will look at spending more money on goaltending than somewhere else. |
The Official 2024/2025 Canucks & NHL Thread Rutherford took a subtle shot at Tocchet after the 5-1 loss to the Bruins: We're in the middle of playing a lot of games... so we get a lot of days off." Rutherford said, "We didn't practice yesterday, we've had a couple of other home games when we didn't practice, and we didn't play well. We have some adjustments to make, obviously, but they're fixable, but we better fix them quick 'cause you can't be a playoff team with a record like we have at.” Vancouver Canucks President of Hockey Operations Jim Rutherford was also in attendance watching today's practice according to Jeff Paterson of Rink Wide: Vancouver. When it came time for line rushes, Rick Tocchet decided to make some drastic changes to his lines and defensive pairings from last night's loss J.T. Miller and Brock Boeser stayed together, moving up to the top line where they're joined by Conor Garland, who spent last night's game on the third line. Today's second line consisted of Jake DeBrusk, Elias Pettersson and Max Sasson, the latter of whom scored his first NHL goal against Boston. Danton Heinen, Pius Suter and Kiefer Sherwood were on the third line, while the fourth line consisted of Dakota Joshua, Teddy Blueger and Nils Hoglander. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Just the top 2 NHL scoring leaders coming next game, no big deal lol |

Adding - A potential miller trade intrigues me. We could get younger with the right move, although it will be difficult to replace what Miller brought to the table for 8m. We could also trade Boeser. He's a 27YO UFA asking 8m+. |
The idea of a 32+ year old Boeser at $8M a year scares me a lot |
He has not been healthy enough or consistent enough to get 8M. When you look at Garland performance compared to Boeser in the last few yrs, i don't think he deserves almost double Garland. Yet Garland brings it every game hence why coach loves him so much. He is overplaying his contract like Hughes. Not to mention it leaves us more money to bring in support players. |
The team better be ready to play tonight! They played like dog shit against the Bruins on Saturday. |
