You know with JR saying we have a 3 yr window to win, and our core getting older. Petey contract is the easiest to deal because he's not locked down. Petey is a square peg trying to fit in a round hole. At least in Buffalo he can play as 1c and can be the top dog there. Cozen will be perfect for 2c while Miller can still be 1c. We get a top 4 Dman with cup experience.

Petey being younger still has the better upside, it really depends if you want to throw away the long term. He's still believe he's going to be a 80-90pt player even at his worst with a solid defensive game.
Miller's the guy if you want the best chance to win today, but he probably only has a few more years left before he starts regressing.
Freidman's deal kind of sucks. Dahlin, Thompson, or maybe Power has to be involved.

Although if Miller and Petey rift is bad enough, something has to give. I am sure management tried the non-nuclear approach. There are players that are toxic or cancers in the locker room. Not saying Petey or Miller are but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do to bring a good culture and get rid of distractions even if you have to trade a star player.
