well if there's any silver lining here, at least it was regular season and not playoffs like the above example. absolutely awful though, of course. before the game started, I was expecting a loss anyways. but to have them get my hopes up only to be crushed in such embarrassing fashion was just.... :facepalm:

As a canucks fan you should have learned after 54 years that there is no point getting your hopes up. It will some how end badly for you. It's worst if you spend money on the Canucks, hurts a little bit more. Lol

I seriously have no confidence in buying tickets to watch them play this year. It's been so inconsistent. But yeah, you're right I shouldn't get my hopes up. My usual motto in life is to expect the worst and be pleasantly surprised when something good happens. Dunno why I keep forgetting that with the Canucks.
