Canucks in the centre of the Universe tonight ... and they're not even winning on the road lately anymore !! But please summon all the infinity stones today and get a W! The satisfaction in beating the Leafs is beyond words. |
Leafs starting their giant Swedish goalie tonight... 6'7" dude playing his 3rd ever NHL game Am afraid the Canucks will continue their very long tradition of making no name goalies look spectacular. |
or not. |

Was pleasantly surprised to come home to see the 3rd period up 3-0 |
what happened to JT? only played 13 minutes after Petey returns :lol |
The Official 2024/2025 Canucks & NHL Thread Wow! Canucks win in a shutout! For once, the guys did not blow a three goal lead in a game haha. Well deserved shutout for Lankinen. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

When two teams that choke play, still, only one team can possibly choke. |
Alright, JT for Pasta. Both not getting along with their teammates LEGGO |
Brannstrom on waivers, hope that means Hronek's back soon |
Yeah, that's likely the case. Kind of sucks because we have no puck movers beyond Hughes and Hronek (yes he has made some nice stretch passes lol). This would be another scenario where size, being a lefty and defensive lapses have worked against Brannstrom. I'm sure the team is hoping he will pass through waivers and be a depth piece. We'll see. |
Hronek went to Abbottsfordf for conditioning on Jan 8th ... so it seems like he is getting ready to return. I did find it odd, I thought it was kind of demeaning to go to Abbotsford and play but I think top players do that once in a while. The guys in Abby must love having a player like Hronek for a game or two. |
Well it's not a true demotion lol. That's why they make it very clear it's a conditioning stint and nothing more. |
https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...5d5afb43af.jpg Hronek is back tonight. He is playing in the game against Winnipeg. https://www.sportsnet.ca/nhl/article...against-jets/? "Yeah, I think he's gonna go tonight," said head coach Rick Tocchet at the team's morning skate. "He's worked really hard, had a lot of skates, tested himself very hard the last seven days. So he's ready to go. He wants to play, so I'm not going to keep him out." Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
We getting torched already in period 1... |
Yea, top players all back together... give up hat trick in 6 minutes looooool |
monkaS |
Play one good game in Toronto, ride that high for the next 3? lol Edmonton on Saturday could get ugly |

Until ya win you’re in the same boat as the Canucks. Making the finals once with the best players in the world isn’t shit lol |
Meyers just quit skating for Connor hat trick goal. Lol. A good way to leave your goalie hung out to dry if Lank made a good save. |
Yay for yet another rebuild. |
This team is the definition of inconsistency. They play one great game against Toronto and then play awful for the next road game. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
