It's pretty much a given... hockey players at this level do NOTHING but play hockey day in and day out their entire childhood in an environment that is more bro bruh brah than anyone can ever imagine and then they make it to the NHL and they know they have the skills, just have to apply it and stay in shape and get paid shit tonnes of money and idolized by women and fans from like 20 years old on... of course you're going to develop that "You just have to work hard, people are fuckin lazy and I know everything" type of mentality even if you hide it really well. Leans hard into the right wing mentality.

Very true. If you have the talent and skill to make it to the big leagues during draft year, your highest education level is high school. If you can't then you play college (maybe learn a thing or two) and hope you get scouted for the big leagues.

Allvin made a huge mistake in offering the fifth biggest contract in the NHL to Petey.
I heard reports that EP40 showed up to training camp in less than stellar shape.
He is a soft Swede who cannot win puck battles on the boards.
Not shooting the puck. Not skating hard and not driving to the net.
Allvin needs to admit to himself that he made a mistake with signing Petey.
Trade EP40 if any team is willing to take this Swedish Meatball ASAP before the No Trade Clause in Petey’s contract kicks in on July 1st.
The kid has a really bad attitude with the media too. You get paid a 11.6 million per year and do not wanna talk with reporters??
He is accountable to the fans and to his teammates. Start playing the game like you actually care about your team and the fans, Petey!

When your top defenseman leads your team in overall points, that is very very bad. AND we are not talking leading as in a couple points. The separation between Hughes and Garland is 23 points! Plus, Hughes was injured for a few weeks. lol.

Apparently Canucks offered Boeser 5x8mil

Hindsight is 20/20. Everyone was screaming to sign ep40 and applauded that was a good contract. Obviously not saying that he should get some slack as it's upon himself to perform properly on the ice.

Yah it’s not managements fault to be honest… I mean a guy is 100+ point player that’s the going rate… how can they possibly know he’s going to turn into a physical and mental no-show a year later?

Surely a seasoned GM can't base everything on pts alone.
