No choice, at this point, either Hughes carry the team or no playoffs.
And it's most likely no playoffs.

Can't be losing these type of game and expecting playoffs.

So frustrating to watch them play this whole season. I just bought tickets for April 5 game vs ducks for the wife and I. The prices on these last remaining home games seem to have dropped. Season will end in mid April for us. :okay:

The Vancouver Giants made the playoffs. Abby has their playoffs as well. There is still hockey to watch if one wanted to.

To make things worst, St. Louis won, Calgary won, Minny won.

I still maintain that missing the playoffs is arguably better for this team long term. They need to really face the mirror and look at what needs changing or we will continue to be stuck in this shit of good but not good enough to make playoffs/actually be a contender.

I hate that these guys are trying their absolute hardest (regardless of wins/losses) and still can't really make a clear cut push to get in. It's bad for us but it's soul crushing for the players. They simply aren't good enough to compete with the best in this league and that's been painfully obvious. Last year truly was an anomaly. The one bright spot in a decade of just trash. Root cause likely Aquaman but gfl getting him to relinquish ownership of this cash cow.

There were a few years Demko carried this team. Overplayed and look where he is now.

Then you look at Hughes right now. He plays 30mins a game. lol. He is carrying the team now.... but for how long....not to mention he already got injured and is still not 100 percent.

The Canucks need to become a team full of goons for a couple of years and harden up.

Fans, especially season ticket holders, who buy tickets to games need to send a message to Aquaman by not buying tickets or renewing season tickets.

The outrage from fans will be loud if the team does not make the playoffs and season ticket prices are already going up again.

Let’s see how long Aquaman stays as owner when Rogers arena becomes a half full rink during home games.

If you were to blame owners for demise of team, usually it's because they are unwilling to spend $$. I don't think that's the case at this moment, think they must have signed off on Petey contract. I think the shitty state of the Canucks right now falls on Rutherford and Allvin's shoulders more than Aquaman, there just isn't enough good players in the different positions.
