Is this something I could take the M2 on or would I regret it? I should think as long as it's not smashing pot holes all day it would be fine right? |
Take the Lotus :troll: |
Coast to Coast is on gravel, I don't know what the FSRs are like on the island but they may be a little rough for an M2? Falling Leaves is another fully paved novice event on Nov 2 in Cowichan Valley that should be fine for anything. Rallye Round the Capital was all smooth roads and no problem for the various Porsches or my brothers lowered m235i. |
The event page for Falling Leaves is up. It's an all-paved novice event out of Duncan: https://www.facebook.com/events/1340918633553712/ |
RAVI announced the 2025 event dates. https://www.facebook.com/share/p/155D5Y1umd/ Paved novice events: Tour De North - May 24th, Qualicum Beach Rallye 'Round the Capital - Aug 9th, Victoria Falling Leaves - Nov 1st, Cowichan Valley Gravel events: Coast to Coast - May 2-4th, Campbell River Midnight - Sept 20th, Duncan I did Rallye 'Round the Capital and Coast to Coast last year. The RRC had a bit of a steep learning curve if someone showed up totally green and tried to figure it out, but it was a lot of fun and you can do it in any car. Coast to Coast was a blast but the north island back roads have some spots where the gravel is more just small rocks lol. Midnight is a new event this year that I'm excited to try out. and WCRA has the event info up for Thunderbird. Feb 1-2nd, Merritt to Penticton and back. https://www.rallybc.ca/archives/2025/2025_TBird.htm |
underscore - Will you be participating this year? :) |
I won't be able to do Coast to Coast this year but I'm trying to do Thunderbird, Midnight, and Totem at least. |
I see there's a Boxster signed up, is that you bcrdukes? |
lol i wish! :lol |
